Classic Vermont A-frame near Lake Raponda and Mount Snow
Spacious 2,100-square-foot A-frame nestled in the woods, with four bedrooms, three levels, large front and back decks, a dramatic central fireplace, and room for up to eight guests.
The house is a five-minute walk through the woods to the private Mountain View Association beach on Lake Raponda. Guests have use of a canoe and two kayaks. Mount Snow and Haystack are approximately 9.5 miles away, making the house a comfortable base for lake days, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fall foliage, and quiet Vermont weekends.

Main floor
The main floor includes an open living and dining area centered around the fireplace, with skylights and views into the surrounding woods. The updated kitchen has ample workspace and newer appliances.
Large front and back decks provide additional space for morning coffee, outdoor meals, and relaxing after a day at the lake or mountain.
Ground floor
The ground floor has three bedrooms and a minimally furnished common room that provides extra space for children to play.

Top floor
The top floor includes an additional bedroom with a window seat overlooking the woods, plus a loft office with two skylights.
The house accommodates a maximum of eight guests. It has multiple staircases and is not wheelchair accessible. Pets are not permitted.

The house has free Wi-Fi with approximately 50 Mbps upload and download speeds.
There are two televisions with cable. The living room television includes a DVD player and can be used with streaming devices. The lower-level television includes a DVD and VHS player.

-- Lake Raponda Access --
Lake Raponda is a quiet Vermont lake approximately half a mile wide and two miles long.
The Mountain View Association beach is reached by a five-minute walk along a wooded path. The beach has a sandy shoreline, gradual water entry, dock, and swimming float. Guests may use the house canoe and two kayaks.
Renters may also use the Town of Wilmington beach on Lake Raponda. This bird sanctuary has a gradual beach, picnic tables, grills, and a wooded picnic area. It is approximately a 25-minute walk, a short drive, or can be reached by canoe or kayak.
Additional swimming is available at Lake Whitingham, approximately 10 to 15 minutes away. The east side has a large beach. The west side has swimming from the rocks and nearby picnic tables.

Guests can walk or bike along nearby country roads and marked trails.
A nearby snowmobile/hiking trail travels up the back of Hogback Mountain toward Beer Naked Brewery, which offers beer, pizza, and a five-state view.
