I never tire of the walk on Barters Point Road which skirts the harbor and the various views along the way, including the mix of sailboats and lobster boats and little sailboats from the sailing camp across the harbor. By the way, the body of water with the beautiful sunrises is actually part of the harbor of Tenants Harbor. From some vantages, it can resemble a lake because of the Harts Neck peninsula across the harbor. Do come back!

I'm sorry that you found the stairs difficult, Mary. Before you booked, I did point out the stairs with the railing, and you said they wouldn't be a problem. I think they would be difficult for a greyhound but maybe your dog didn't attempt that. Thank you for leaving the cottage in such a tidy condition.

You described the cottage and location so well and I appreciate your mentioning how careful the residents and other visitors are about mask wearing, etc. Mccloons and the Dipnet are two of our favorite casual restaurants close by and we also enjoy Flatbread in Rockport. I was surprised to read that you found our cottage more rustic than you expected. I believe the photos and description are very faithful, as other renters have commented. I am also surprised that you found the Webber charcoal grill unusable. There is a steel brush for cleaning the grill in between uses. Regarding no linens for drying dishes, there was at least one dish towel that you used and I found that you also used a hand towel and larger towel for drying the dishes. Our phone number is in the cottage and our house is just down the street. I'm sorry you didn't mention these items to my husband when he stopped by and asked how everything was and if there were any problems. He also reminded you where our house was and you said you already knew and had seen our house. He encouraged you to contact us if you had any concerns.
