Absolutely beautiful country house, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The garden was particularly lovely, perfect for a peaceful break. The hosts were very welcoming, showing us around the house and grounds, leaving us a bottle of wine made from their own grapes. We all loved it.

4/10 Poor

This property has potential but currently falls way short, we didn't feel welcome! The house wasn't clean (dusty, upholstery dirty etc,) and several items of furniture wère in a delicate state. Arrived from the UK to totally bare cupboards and almost no cleaning equipment (a c.10ml bottle of Fairy liquid and 2 dishwasher tablets for a 2 week stay!). No midweek clean without extra cost not even of the pool, which was discolouring. That said the house afforded us a base t explore the area, which is beautiful notably the national parks.

Dear Janet, We are sorry to hear that you did not feel welcome in our house even though we have waited 2 hours for you to arrive, not only have we welcomed you and your family with a smile, but also with 2 bottles of regional wine, local organic fruit and toasts. The house is cleaned the day before or the same day as the guests check in. We also provided for small samples of cleaning products. If you are used to renting houses you are surely aware that you must buy your own products and are not to depend on the house owner to provide you with cleaning products, or others. Midweek cleans are offered as a supplementary service as it is not included in the price rate, this information is easily consulted in our page, therefore this service must be paid as extra. This is something that you could have asked before booking the house.

Very quiet place, perfect for a good rest

Property is perfect for a good rest. Pool is not huge and a bit shallow, but ok for the family to relax and refresh. Additionally you can enjoy the rest of the farm and in my case even have the kids help the farm keeper harvest potatos. I will try to come back for sure next opportunity I have.
