This 1BR1BA guest house is approximately 10 few feet behind the main house. Parking for this is only in the dirt driveway that runs between the houses and the initial entry is the door between the 2 houses, which leads into the bedroom. You would then enter the living room/dining area and unlock the sliding glass doors.
Most of the deck and front sliding glass doors look out over an empty lot directly to the ocean, but the linoleum floors are badly worn and there is no dishwasher.
Enjoy uncrowded beaches, fishing, boating, and bike paths all over the island.
Fripp Island is a wildlife sanctuary, with deer grazing in the yards, over 170 species of birds, alligators in the lakes, dolphins playing in the waves, and Loggerhead sea turtles nesting and hatching on the shores.
I am not offering amenity cards this year and, as far as I know, the only way to get them is through a home owner who is offering them.

I stayed here by myself for a week. I had a couple family members stay with me for 1night. And the place is nice spacious. I will definitely stay here again!
My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was perfect for what we needed as we were meeting family in Fripp. It was clean, convenient, and Bev was easy to communicate with.
Great little guest house. Private and super close to the beach. We took our dog and enjoyed being able to walk the neighborhood and beach daily. House was equipped with what we needed and host was easy to work with.
This is our 2nd time staying in this property. It is just right for my husband and I. We love the location and ease of checking in and out. The hostess is very easy to work with. 😄🏝️
Wonderful couple of days with my daughters. The guest house was perfect for my needs. Bev was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The deer were my kids’ favorite part. They were everywhere. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location
The location couldn’t be better. Without the amenity pass we were unable to use any pool or golf or restaurant. Also we could not connect to the Wi-Fi the password was wrong so we had to leave early cause my husband had conferences calls he had to be on Monday. We lost out on 2 days.

Debbie,
I am so sorry you had this problem. Sometimes the various utilities go out island wide but usually for a very short time. I'm always happy to call the wifi installer when there is a problem.
That said, I would like to offer you 2 free days on your next visit to make up for the inconvenience.

Outdated decor house
The location is fripp so even the worst place on the island is still on the island. This place did have a narrow view of the ocean.
However, expect to get what you pay for. We were doing a last minute getaway so it worked out, but I definitely would not stay here again if I were planning ahead.
The decor is super old. No where comfortable to sit and relax with your feet up. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting on the longer couch bc it had that dingy appearance. Neither couches had ottomans or reclining options. House pillows are flat for real. The place smelled musty like grandma’s house. Also, the sliding doors that you will use to go in and out locks by putting a stick behind the door and it’s a pain in the a$$ to have to open and close bc it catches as it slides. The shower curtain had mildew growing on it. The blinds kept falling as we would close them to try and give ourselves some privacy from the neighbors, but some of the blind slats are already missing and so you don’t get total privacy in the evenings.
Seaview Cottage.
Turn down the gravel/sand driveway to the left of the main house, to this secluded guest house.
Park at the end, in front of the house.
To the right is a welcoming staircase that leads you up to meet the front porch.
This breezy front porch is perfect for stargazing, lighting shows, thunderstorms, rain showers, reading
or just relaxing.
To the right is a breezeway/porch that is connected to the main house.
"The guest house" is attached to the main house but has a private, secluded feel to it.
There was a family staying in the main house during our stay and we were never reminded they were there.
The entrance opens to the bedroom that has a comfy queen bed in it.
To the right is the bathroom, straight ahead is the open living space and kitchen.
The kitchen was perfect for the two of us. There isn't a dishwasher.
This was fine for us minimalists.
The laundry is beside the kitchen, stackable units.
The living space opens with a sliding glass door that creates the indoor/outdoor living vibe.
It is amazing. My favorite part of "the guest house".
You have a view of the ocean from the front porch and it is beautiful.
"The Guest House" is perfect for a romantic getaway or a vacation with a small family.
It was clean and the owner was very responsive, not that we needed her, check in was simple,
property was open, keys were left for us and the golf cart was waiting to ride around the island.
We will be back, added to my favorites.
Thank you, Bev, for hosting this little gem to the world!

The property was just as described (a little aged but had everything we needed for an amazing beach getaway) and it is such a great value. The location is incredible as it's only steps away from a quiet beach access. Bev was so kind and accommodating. She is also great at communicating and meeting your needs as a renter. We enjoyed our stay!
The property was clean and in a great location, within walking distance to the beach. Pet friendly and our dog enjoyed the stay, too. Bev was helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.
