Enjoy a private setting with two acres, removed from neighbors, and spend days swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, or simply reading on the lawn. The open deck provides guests options for sunbathing, star-gazing or relaxing and enjoying the view. The fire pit is great for end-of-the-day campfires and firewood is provided! This property has games and all the kitchen supplies you need. There is a charcoal grill for cooking. There are two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat provided with life jackets. Only 15 minutes from Bangor, it’s easy to everything from ethnic food to an independent book store or the mall. Under an hour from Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and the activities of the coast, making this popular destination an easy day trip. A small bunkhouse with a bunkbed is available for an extra fee.

About the host

Hosted by Miller-Klossner family

Host profile image
We are a family of four living in southern Maine and thrilled to have a place to share with others that lets you wake up by the water and enjoy its peaceful beauty, while also taking advantage of all that Down East Maine has to offer. We love kayaking, canoeing, anything on the water (but the picture of us was taken on the edge of a Louisiana bayou, not in Maine)

Why they chose this property

It's private and the lake is quiet. The waterfront is just steps away, and the fishing is great.
