Serene, relaxation in a beautiful location

The property was above expectation, even better than the photos. We loved the grounds and facilities and our children really enjoyed the children’s crafting and party activities offered, as well as the swimming pool and sports. The staff were helpful and friendly, property was super comfortable and luxurious and we were able to do some lovely day trips to beaches and attractions in Cornwall. We were also surprised with how quiet and relaxing the site was, we were expecting crowds of people, but it felt relaxed and peaceful.

Amazing!

We had the best week staying at Clowance Estate. The facilities and activities were fantastic. We enjoyed swimming every day, going to the park, boating on the lake, frisbee golf etc! So much to do. The lodge and the surroundings were beautiful. The communication from David and everyone at Clowance was incredible! We would highly recommend and definitely look to book again when we next holiday in Cornwall.

end of July weeks holiday

Lovely lodge & great on-site amenities. Not a lot to do in the immediate area but as we like the beach there were plenty to chose from that were only a short drive away. Only downside to the property itself was that there were no glasses for drinks. - not even tumblers for squash / coke etc. Apart from that couldn't argue about anything.

Glad you loved the lodge & amenities. Very sorry about the glasses of which there should have been two per guest. A phone call to the reception desk would have had them delivered to your lodge within an hour or two. Reception do all they can to resolve problems quickly and there are both housekeeping and maintenance teams on the site seven days a week.

Lovely break

We stayed with elderly parents who thoroughly enjoyed the break. Lodge was comfortable and grounds were very well maintained, lovely for strolling in and relaxing by the lake. Enjoyed playing tennis and croquet too. Would definitely recommend.

Very pleased you managed to enjoy despite the poor weather. It is a resort that is equally suited to the elderly (like ourselves!) and the young (we take our family with us).
