It was just what we needed as a base for a short break in Whitby.

The cottage was warm, cosy and clean. Good facilities for a Mum and daughter getaway, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Centrally located but tucked away in a quiet side street. Very useful parking permit provided.

Clarence Cottage is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at in Whitby, we loved it.

Clarence cottage is beautifully decorated, the rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable, and it’s centrally located for all of the amenities in Whitby. We had a fabulous weekend and loved our complimentary Prosecco and biccys, thanks so much to Charlotte and Craig. We totally recommend a stay at this cottage ❤️

Amazing stay! Amazing location feels like home!

The location is perfect, it's cosy and warm, super clean with comfortable beds and having two bathrooms is perfect. Hosts are so welcoming and professional. I am a regular customer and Clarence is always my first choice. Parking permit is also essential and is included.

I feel completely relaxed and content.

I love the way I feel when I walk through the doors of Clarence cottage. It’s peaceful, cosy and I immediately relax. I also get excited to see what’s in the welcome bag, love those tea biscuits! The location is great, it’s minutes away from the local pub and delicatessen and 5 minutes from the town centre. Charlotte is amazing, she is kind, thoughtful always available. Thank you so much x
