About this property
Laines Loft - cosy flat in the centre of The Laines, with private sun terrace
My apartment is super cosy and welcoming.
Split over 2 floors, it's a conversion of an old pub, with carpets and rugs over wooden flooring & double glazed sash windows. The terrace with table is perfect for morning coffee, dinner or sitting and reading in the egg chair.
Located right in Brighton's North Laines, there are cafe's, coffee shops and pubs on your doorstep. It's a little haven away from the hustle and bustle. And only a 5 minute walk to Brighton Pavilion,10 minutes to the pier and sea front, 2 minutes to Brighton station.
It's super cosy and comfy, with everything you need.
- no parties please my flat is in a nice residential area - parking is can be an issue in Brighton as it isn't very car friendly, but my flat is only a couple of minutes walk from Brighton mainline train station and buses and I have a limited amount of parking passes in case it's essential to drive (do drop me a message to check I have some left).

About the host
Hosted by Olivia.
I live abroad most the time, but love staying in my flat when am in the country, it has such a nice vibe and is right by The Laines amazing coffee shops, cafe's and independent clothes shops.
My flat is managed by a professional company who do the housekeeping and organise check in and check out (via a key safe), but I coordinate with them and am always available on message for any questions or help needed.
Why they chose this property
The flat has such a cosy and nice feeling about it, as soon as you step in from Brighton's Laines, all the coffee shops, pubs and little shops, you feel at home.
I did a lot to the flat when I first bought it, added carpet in the bedroom and up the stairs. Re-did the decking and painted walls etc. I pride myself on keeping the flat in great condition, do DIY myself when I can and get people in for the big jobs.
I looked into the history of the building when I bought the place as well, and created a couple of plaques which are hanging in the kitchen which you may like to read. The building was once a pub called The Camden Arms, and the last record of the pub landlord I could find, was actually the 1st manager of Brighton and Hove Albion football club, so a great bit of local history.
What makes this property unique
The private terrace is such a treat. Great for mornings, or afternoon sun, and lets so much light into the flat. It's top (2nd floor) so not looked over, but you can see the different colour painted houses below.
