We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was well equipped and clean. Lake was easily accessible and our dog enjoyed swimming in the lake. We would definitely recommend this place. It would have been nice if we had a manual to setup the heater but apart from that we really enjoyed the place.
Our cabin was clean and very nicely furnished. We often sat on the front deck and enjoyed the lovely view of the lake and trees. We brought our boat, so it was a very short walk to the dock. We had a wonderful four days and plan to return again next year!
Great time on this immaculate lake/coveside property.
All amenities onsite, boat dock, comfortable house, nearby restaurants, hiking Lassen NP, biking Westshore paved trail.
Excellent time at Almanor-again here!

Comfy cabin, as advertised, on a beautifully landscaped property that leads down to the water. We walked to the Knotty Pine Marina, the well-stocked Peninsula Market, the coffee shop (with wifi), and dinner at The Red Onion. Recommended.
Very clean and quiet , the only small problem was the dock ladder being broken and would have made it easy to get in and out but we managed. Great fun we had for sure!

Thanks Mike. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I didn't know about the ladder but will take care of that right away.
This was a much needed and wonderful get away for my family if 5! Rental property was quick to respond to all questions and help us get the dock in good position for our boat since the lake was low. It was so wonderful to escape the city and have a place to relax and enjoy the view, outdoors and fun! Thanks you so much

Thanks for the great review Cory. I'm glad you and your family had a great time.
We enjoyed the cabin and the fact that it was so close to the lake. The cabin was cozy and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the patio down closer to the lake. The parking was very good, being right next to the cabin. We were also impressed with Lake Almanor and all the beauty surrounding it. The only downside was that we had no heat in the morning to take the chill off the cool mornings. We'd like to come back again however, we want to make sure that we have heat.
Thanks
Rick
Cute, clean cabin in a nice quiet area with close access to grocery, restaurants & gas. Cabin is rather small but manageable for a family of 4. Paper goods, sheets and towels provided which is a plus. No laundry so be aware of that. Access to water and shared dock is easy if you have a boat or enjoy water sports. The only negative is the internet, which is terrible. Plan to bring reading material because the streaming tv rarely works, at least during our stay in late June. Overall highly recommend.
We went to Lake Almanor for my husband's birthday. The house is very nice. The posting is misleading as it leads one to think that it is somewhat secluded. There are houses packed around it. One night, one of the neighbors were very loud. The wifi didn't work, which was a problem, nor did the TV. The place was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to walk to the grocery store and restaurants.
The view from the deck was beautiful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small. The only drawback for us was the driveway. It is steep and narrow. The parking spaces are lined with big boulders. Trying to get backed out of the parking space to leave was difficult. We could not see the boulders over the hood of the car because it was facing uphill. Unfortunately we thought we were over far enough but we weren't. We hit those boulders on the passenger side of our car. We now have to replace both doors on that side of the car. Other than that a pleasant stay.
Beautiful view; nice fully appointed deck under the trees. Cabin is located on a marina with easy lake access for canoes, kayaks, etc. Very nice stay, although the lake was quite low.
This cabin was perfect to enjoy returning to our vacation area of 39 years. It was comfortable, quiet and had anything we needed in the way of supplies. After a failed attempt to the emergency # posted, we were able to talk to the manager over a most unexpected bug invasion. All in all we were delighted.
