Gamekeepers Hide - Stunning cottage with two heated pools feet away

Thanks Carly, So glad you liked the property and the estate surrounding it. I hope you comeback to visit Gamekeeper’s Hide again soon.

Yes your quite right about lake voles have taken over and fish are hiding/sleeping . The owners are going to work on the lake and try and get some oxygen into it. Sorry your son didn’t quite catch what he hoped for.

Good morning Marc, We are always pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay with us and that your little one enjoyed both the pools. The outdoor pool is heated from May to the end of Sept but battles with the weather and air temp it is of course cooler than the indoor pool. Apart from last week when guest's are very happy but can not cool down in it but all very happy to have it so nice clean and warm. Not sure why the wifi was intermittent but that may well have been down to the storms which were in the South Hams during your weeks stay. Colmer is a beautiful large estate with over 28 acres of grounds all our staff work so hard to make sure it is safe for all our guest's i will pass this onto them to go around and check the flag paving out. We were a little concerned also could not understand that you found the cottage a little bit shabby the cottage is checked and prepared each week I do speak with all my guest's before they arrive and vacate as I do most of our bookings ourselves If you found it needed attention our housekeeper would have come straight back out to address your concerns. We know what it likes when guest's arrive and vacate so this is a bit of a mystery to us. Gamekeepers hide is a cottage the shower was brand new a few months ago no other guest's have had a problem with the height I understand it is 6ft 4 " Sorry you will not be staying with us again pleased you enjoyed Colmer and the South Hams.

Thank you so much for you comments we are so pleased you did have what you wanted a good quality time with your family. It would be a pleasure to see you again as our guest's in October

Thank you Hugh it was a pleasure to have you and your lady wife stay with us and I think you did have some nice warm and sunny days. Gamekeepers is a lovely warm and cosy cottage light and bright in both the summer and winter as in the summer its south facing receives sun light all day and early into the evenings in the winter warm cosy and comfy. Did you manage to walk all around the estate during your stay. We truly hope to see you both again early Spring is also a lovely time to take a break away. Gamekeepers hide is in the most perfect location for you to enjoy walking all around the estate their is so much wild life on the estate and beautiful grounds.
