Beautiful weekend away!

Gorgeous setting, lovely lodge and fantastic vineyard tour and wine tasting. Highly recommend walking to Bodian castle from the accommodation - it was a real highlight.

A fantastic relaxing weekend with loads to explore in close proximity

America made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. Her enthusiasm for wine making, local attractions and ensuring that you have a great time is breathtaking. I would definitely recommend staying here and we are looking forward to repeating our experiences

Beautiful week on the vineyard

The Avalon Waterside Lodge had everything we needed for a perfect break. It was a beautiful setting and it was so good to relax in the hot tub, surrounded by nature. We enjoyed tasting the Oastbrook wines while we were there. Nick and America were so welcoming and made our visit so wonderful. We are already looking forward to going back again.

Lovely location and well presented cottage

Everything you need for a lovely stay. Amazing location on the lake, with hot tub on the deck. Warm and cozy cottage, well laid out and lovely furniture. The welcoming wine was delicious and very appreciated.

A wonderful relaxing stay!

America and Nick were so welcoming and America has great knowledge about the local area with lots of suggestions of things to do. Frequent visits to the lodge decking from Lora the really friendly vineyard dog were brilliant. The lodge is nestled alongside the brook and has great views of the vineyards. We loved watching the sunsets from the hot tub. The location of the vineyard is great: there's a pub and Bodiam Castle a short walk along the river and the 1066 country walking route in nearby.

Fantastic accommodation, venue & hosts.

It felt very personal, America & Nick were great hosts and passionate about the wine they produce. The accommodation was beautiful and furnished to a high quality finish. The attention to detail on all aspects was very impressive and the views across the vineyard were even better!

Perfect minimoon at Oastbrook

My husband and I spent a couple of wonderful nights at the waterside Lodge and enjoyed every minute! The location, views, style, facilities were perfection - as was the Oastbrook sparkling wine we were greeted with on arrival. America was really friendly and helpful throughout. Thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back!
