What a great stay we had in nimrod lodge. The chalet was really cosy, well equiped for children and nicely located. The garden is huge and perfect for the kids to entertain. We felt like home!

Fabulous stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge, the children especially loved the outside space & the freedom to run around in the meadow. The lodge was cosy & clean the only thing that bothered us was the low pressure shower but it certainly didn’t ruin our stay.

Wonderful place!

We had such a wonderful week at Nimrod Lodge. The cabin is bright, cosy and very clean. It has an amazing view and everything needed is provided for. We had wonderful weather and everything was growing and blooming, fantastic! The location is perfect; in this week we visited Bodiam Castle, Scotney Castle, Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens, Chartwell, Emmetts Gardens, Rye, Bayham Old Abbey, Bateman's, Alfriston and Knole. We would defenitely recommend this beautiful place!

Relaxed, refreshed and happy!

From the first moment we arrived at Nimrod Lodge we felt our spirits lift as we looked out onto the fields on our doorstep. Coming from hectic London the tranquil location of Nimrod Lodge really helped us unwind. Superb place to stay, lovely decor, really well equipped and with so much to do in the area we ran out of time to see everything. The owners were helpful with our queries and the welcome hamper is such a nice touch. Thank you, we will be back!

We were very happy with our experience and the owner, Laura, was very helpful and coped well with a major problem relating to a loss of power supply which was rectified very quickly

We spent 3 nights at the lodge. The lodge was just the right amount of space for our family of 4. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. The lodge was clean and well maintained.There were a few downsides one was the water pressure. When using the sink in the kitchen the water in the shower would go cold and I unfortunately was not able to use the lovely tub as the water did not heat up after two attempts. Also the lighting around the lodge needs to be checked as on dark evenings it was difficult to see when returning from our days out.

Lovely little place

Lovely little place to stay, had all we needed and was cosy at night. Kitchen well equipped and was lovely to have the welcome pack with cake, tea and crisps. Beds were comfy and so were the sofas. Had Netflix for the evenings which was good. I have marked it down slightly as there was building material spoiling the view a little bit which was a shame however it rained most of the time so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside space but this is England! Haha Thank you for a lovely stay

Herrlich und ruhig gelegenes Holzhaus, dass mit allem ausgestattet ist, was es für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt in Kent braucht. Laura, die Gastgeberin ist eine total liebe und zuvorkommende Person, die sofort hilft bei allen Fragen und eventuellen Problemen. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Lovely and quiet wooden house that is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Kent. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Das Ferienhaus liegt in ruhiger Lage auf einem Farmergelände. Wir hatten mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern ausreichend Platz. Das Grundstück ist riesig und war für unsere Kinder optimal geeignet. Das Haus und die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Wir können Nimrod Lodge jedem empfehlen, der einen etwas ruhigeren Ort in schöner Atmosphäre sucht.

Loved it!

Wonderful stay. The host was amazing. She left us adapters which worked perfectly since we were visiting from America. The kitchen was great, we cooked meals in the oven and used the very large fridge. The shower was a good size and lots of hot water!

Das Ferienhaus war wie für uns gemacht. Wir vier hatten genügend Platz. Es war alles vorhanden was wir brauchten und wir haben uns sehr Wohlgefühlt! Es war so liebevoll eingerichtet. Great holiday home

We had a great weekend at the cottage. It was clean, everything worked fine and there was a nice welcome basket. The house is in a quiet place and there is a large garden around it. The town of Biddenden is nearby and so is the nice vineyard of Biddenden (tip!).

Family fun in the very hot sun!

A lovely little property for family of 4. Kids happily played in the meadow, and beds were comfortable.... The deluxe hamper on arrival was a lovely surprise.... location great for attractions...
