Lovely large apartment, close to village and ski lift

This is a really spacious apartment and was great for a family of 8 adults. The open kitchen/living area made for sociable evenings and breakfasts together. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate in most evenings. Of the four bedrooms, both doubles and the twin were roomy and comfortable. The fourth, smaller bedroom was compact and had a single bed with a pull out to make it a double. Before visiting, I was a bit concerned that we would be restricted by sharing the two toilets/bathrooms but it worked out really well. The village is a short walk away, with lovely bakeries, bars and a small supermarket. The larger Carrefour is a five minute drive away. The ski lift is about a 15 minute walk but the free ski bus is accessible outside the tourist office - which is much closer. We arrived quite late in the evening but the check in was easy and instructions were clear. I'd definitely return to this lovely apartment and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere close to the village and amenities.

Jane was a pleasure to host - very clear communication and prompt responses. The apartment was left in very good condition and the guests even left some consumables that were not perishable which was helpful for our next stay. I would definitely recommend Jane and her family.

Séjour au calme de qualité.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à cinq dans ce chalet et notre ressenti global est très positif. Le chalet la Bottière 2 est récent. Il a été livré en octobre 2014. C'est un chalet comportant une dizaine d'appartements. Il est situé à coté de la patinoire abritée de Samoëns. L'arrêt de bus permettant de relier le départ du Grand Massif Express en 3 min se trouve à environ 2 min à pied de l'appartement. C'est plat, il n'y a pas de relief pour rejoindre l'arrêt de bus. Les magasins du centre ville sont à 10 min à pied de l'appartement, sans relief là aussi. L'appartement est calme, silence absolu la nuit dans les chambres. Aucun bruit de voisinage ni nuisance de circulation. L'appartement présente deux niveaux : Le rez de chaussé avec la salle de séjour et cuisine ainsi qu'une chambre et une salle de bain disposant d'une baignoire. L'étage avec une chambre pour 2 personnes, une salle de douche disposant d'une grande douche. Un pallier en sous pente sur lequel peut dormir une personne de petite taille : le plafond plonge rapidement et le bout du lit présente une petite hauteur pour y glisser ses pieds. La disposition des couchages est idéal pour 2 couples ou une famille dans laquelle peuvent dormir 2 enfants ensemble. Les deux salles de bains sont grandes, il y a de la place. Elles sont très bien chauffées. Petit plus, une boite à clefs avec code secret à l'entrée de l'appartement qui permet de ne pas jongler avec les deux jeux de clefs mis à disposition et de ne pas rester à la porte. L'accueil a été fait par un anglo saxon qui parle un peu notre langue mais qui est beaucoup plus à l'aise dans la langue de Shakespeare. Pensez donc à réviser votre anglais de base si il est parti aux oubliettes, ce sera plus simple. L'appartement dispose d'un garage fermé en sous sol avec une partie casier à skis si besoin. Un monospace rentre et sort dans ce garage à l'aide d'une petite manoeuvre. Il y a aussi des places de parking extérieur en quantité suffisante. Pas de pelle à neige à disposition pour l'instant. Le matin de notre départ, il a en effet neigé et nous n'avons pas réussi à sortir la voiture qui est restée bloquée sur la pente. Heureusement, un des propriétaires habitant le chalet est venu avec sa pelle et nous a permis de partir sans perdre de temps. Merci Monsieur ! Nous conseillons ce lieu de séjour.
