Overall good value for money, just a little bit of an issue with curtain fixings coming away from the wall. Lovely big house with sea views and great enclosed garden for the dog. Kitchen facilities very good and we had a lovely stay here.

Maisie Cottage is a warm, clean and well equipped accommodation at a good price.

Maisie Cottage is a warm, clean and well equipped accommodation at a good price. Small amount of amenities close by but only a few miles if you’d like to eat out for dinner. I believe there is a chippie that is open on weekends. My friend and I had a lovely stay with sunny walks to Anstruther and Ellie. The Aurora even came out for our last night.

The house was very spacious, warm and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The location was excellent. Just a short walk to the harbour and the Fife Coastal Path. Views from the kitchen and main bedroom, looking over the rooftops to the harbour, are beautiful. We had a very relaxing stay in Maisie Cottage and would love to return one day. We did have issues trying to contact the owner but I think it was down to the VRBO app, which is how we booked. Once I realised I could also make contact through cottages.com it was fine.
