It’s wonderful to know you continue to find the cottage homely, comfortable, and well equipped, and we're pleased the upgraded shower was a welcome improvement. Thank you as well for your helpful feedback regarding the wood burner. That's a very practical observation, and one that someone with experience of using a fire at home is particularly well placed to make. We can certainly see how having a companion set, or at the very least a poker, would make it easier to safely adjust logs and get the most from the stove. It’s great to know that Braithwaite proved to be such an excellent base for exploring the North Western Lakes, especially during the busy summer season. The village really does offer the perfect balance of peace and convenience, with easy access to so many fantastic walks and attractions. We’re pleased the parking worked well for your vehicles and that you found the cottage comfortable, well equipped, and welcoming throughout your stay. It’s lovely to hear the shower, bedrooms, and sun room all got a mention, and we can easily picture how enjoyable it must have been to relax in the patio garden with a well-earned cuppa after a day on the fells.
