Big Blue in the Big Easy

A historic Uptown home with some turquoise blue Caribbean flair. Apartment is newly renovated but maintains original Southern charm. 100+ year old oaks and beautiful magnolias on the property. Centrally located and walking distance from Tulane University, street cars and a number of great restaurants. All the amenities of home: fully stocked kitchen, 50" curved 4k tv, Nintendo 64, and king size bed with a Leesa mattress. We hope you love it as much as we do!

Great Stay at Big Blue in the Big Easy

This property was perfect for our Jazz Fest stay. Easy walk to Carrollton Ave transportation options and Robert’s grocery. Property was as advertised - even better in some ways. Max/Host very responsive. Thank you for making your apartment available. We hope to stay again next year!

Name is Max. I, together with my girlfriend, Isa, bought this house in 2017 as our own little slice of New Orleans. We both live here (on the second floor in a separate unit) and love every minute on the property. A little of our story: we met while studying maritime law at Tulane law school. I moved back New York for about 6 months before becoming homesick for New Orleans and Isa and moving back. No plans on moving any time soon.

Why they chose this property

Fully renovated with all the luxuries of home: fully stocked kitchen, stainless steel range and hood, 50" curved 4k smart tv, king size leesa bed, pull-out bed in the living room. Giant backyard with avocado, satsuma and lemon trees. The property has a number of large oaks and magnolias. Can't beat it!
