Your safety is our primary concern. Our property is totally gated and is in one of the nicest residential areas in New Orleans. We comply with all of the requirements and restrictions set by the Short Term Rental Administration of the City. Owner license number 20-RSTR-00355. Operator license number 23-0STR-01882. We have also been approved as a Healthy Home by the City of New Orleans. We have no contact check in and keyless entry. We also set aside a full day between guest to allow for deep cleaning.

The cottage is located behind our Vieux Carre style home. Upon your arrival you can relax and plan your New Orleans visit in your cozy cottage and private patio. Enjoy a welcome wine basket with local delicacies.

The Cottage is located in one of the nicest residential sections of New Orleans. It is a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds and noise. We are very convenient to our 1300 acre City Park and the New Orleans Museum of Arts, the Besthoff Sculpture Garden and the New New Orleans Municipal Bayou Oaks Course with two 18 hole golf courses. You are centrally located to the best of the City within walking distance to Lake Pontchartrain and an inexpensive Uber ride or public transportation to the French Quarter..

Coffee shops, wine bars, Seafood, Mexican, Asian and Creole restaurants are very close; or, relax and barbecue on your private deck.There are a total of 32 restaurants, two local supermarkets and four banks within a mile radius of our home.

But, don't rush - we have provided basic breakfast items (fruit juice, coffee, milk, cereal, yogurt, bread and butter) for your first morning leisure enjoyment.

The inside of the Guest Cottage was recently remodeled with hardwood floors in living/dining, new stainless appliances including ice maker refrigerator and granite countertops in kitchen. Separate bedroom with queen size bed and large bath with built-in make up table.

Free Private off street parking, Cable TV, Two movie channels in living room, Hi speed wi-fi and washer/dryer in cottage.

This was an exceptionally wonderful location and hosts ! Enjoying evenings in the courtyard and breakfast on the back porch were relaxing and lovely! The house was clean, the kitchen impressively well stocked. The hostess was available and super helpful throughout our stay. This location made our anniversary a truely memorable stay!

The caption for this property describes it perfectly. It was so quaint and relaxing! The cottage was tastefully decorated and clean. Our hosts were excellent, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast and drink items. We felt this was so thoughtful and generous of our hosts. We parked in our own spot in the driveway. Neighborhood was very nice. It was a wonderful stay!

The hosts, Susan and Eldon, were extremely welcoming and generous. We arrived to find the refrigerator full of a variety of breakfast foods, chocolate mints, champagne, and wine. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well appointed. There is good lighting for reading, The garden leading from the entrance to the cottage is magical, and we’ve loved falling asleep to the sound of water from the fountains. The private patio with a grill and seating in the back was another plus. We absolutely will retur.

Great guest cottage

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting New Orleans. The cottage was very comfortable and well-appointed, in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. We cook most of our meals when we travel and the kitchen was great, with many essential items provided by the host. The garden is lovely and gives a very relaxing vibe. If we return to New Orleans, we will stay with Susan and Eldon again.

Beautiful Guest Cottage

This is a lovely property within walking distance of City Park. It was so nice to return to the cottage after a full day exploring NOLA. Susan filled the cottage with extra special touches that made it feel like a home away from home.
