About this property
"Luxury Alpine Chalet with Hot Tub, Pool, Sauna & Stunning Mountain Views"
As you step into Chalet Brio, the warmth of the log fire welcomes you, and the floor-to-ceiling windows draw your eyes to the breathtaking views of the Alps. Your family or friends are scattered across the spacious living area—some relaxing on the comfortable sofas, others planning tomorrow’s adventures around the large dining table.
In the mornings, you wake to the gentle glow of the sun lighting up the snow-capped peaks or lush green mountains, depending on the season. You enjoy coffee on the balcony, breathing in the crisp alpine air, while the kids excitedly plan their day.
After an exhilarating day skiing the Grand Massif slopes or hiking the scenic mountain trails, you return to the chalet, greeted by the scent of a home-cooked meal prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. Unwind in the outdoor hot tub, watching the stars come alive in the night sky, or relax in the sauna as your muscles recover from the day's activities.
Evenings are filled with laughter and connection—gather around the billiard table for some friendly competition or cozy up with a movie on the large-screen TV. In the summer, the heated swimming pool becomes the centerpiece of the day, as everyone takes turns splashing, swimming, and soaking up the sun in the beautiful garden.
Chalet Brio is more than just a place to stay—it’s where lasting memories are made. Whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or a little bit of both, this is your mountain sanctuary, where every moment feels special.
The chalet is part of a larger building including Petit Brio (sleeping 4 people) and La Terrasse (Sleeping 6 people). During the summer months please note that the pool, hot tub and gardens are shared with these guests. If you would like an exclusive stay of up to 26 people please do contact us.

A Family Legacy in the Heart of the Alps
Chalet Brio has been part of the Thompson family for over a decade, lovingly designed and built by Robert and Caroline in 2007. In 2017, their son Joss and his wife Denee continued the legacy, transforming this stunning chalet into one of the Alps’ best-kept secrets—a true haven for adventurers and families alike.
'With a shared passion for snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing, and cycling, the move from Surrey to Samoëns was inevitable for us. In fact, we’ve always felt this picturesque valley was more than a destination—it was home. In 2015, we tied the knot in Chalet Brio’s beautiful gardens, and by 2017, we made the leap to live here full-time.
Now, as a family of four—Skyelar (6) and Khione (4) keep us on our toes—we’re more committed than ever to sharing the magic of Samoëns with our guests. Whether you’re here for a snow-filled winter escape or a sunny summer retreat, our family-friendly, year-round resort offers something truly special for everyone.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Chalet Brio and share the place we’re proud to call home'.
