La Spezia Homebase

This property is just 2 blocks from the train station. We were able to jump in and out of Cinque Terre with ease. If you walked further you were able to enjoy the shops, trattorias and boat basin. The apartment was charming, clean and comfortable with a sweet view of the courtyard. The host even included jam and toast for snacking! Although our host did not speak English, we were still able to check-in with her easily. She helped us find FREE parking close-by. All in all - a very pleasant stay!

Perfect location, 6 min walk from train station

Nadia’s apartment was perfect for our family. We were only able to visit Cinque Terra for a night and a day. This apartment allowed us to make the most of our stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. There was no soap in the bathroom/shower (only hand sanitizer) but I had brought my own so it was okay. No air conditioning but we knew that going into it, there were several fans so we slept just fine without the air conditioning. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of outlets to charge our devices. Thank you for everything, Nadia!

Beaucoup trop de difficultés à l'arrivée et plusieurs petits problèmes pourtant si simples à résoudre... Côté positif, l'appartement est vraiment spacieux, tel qu'annoncé. La propreté aussi était adéquate. L'appartement est bien situé, tout près de la gare. Mais trop de choses ont cloché. Les consignes à l'arrivée étaient en italien. Avec les traducteurs automatisés, les consignes étaient incompréhensibles, particulièrement celles sur l'emplacement de la chambre. En effet, le texte étant trop long (problème de l'outil d'Expédia), impossible d'en traduire l'entièreté. Nadia a dû nous appeler de son travail pour que nous puissions finalement entrer dans l'appartement. Je suggère à Nadia d'avoir des instructions déjà écrites et traduites qu'elle pourrait simplement transmettre tel quel. Je suis étonné que VRBO ne propose pas de tels services de préparation de textes d'accueil à leurs hôtes... Un seul brûleur du poële était fonctionnel. Et comme il n'y avait pas d'allume-feu dans l'appartement, impossible de s'en servir. Nous avons dû aller en acheter un. Nous n'avons reçu les instructions pour le chauffage qu'à la dernière nuit, trop tard pour s'en servir. Heureusement, ce n'était pas si froid. Il manquait plusieurs choses pour la cuisine. Notamment avoir une huile à cuisson, une spatule, une louche et plusieurs autres ustensiles à la cuisine, Il y a deux chaises brisées, Les serviettes à douche étaient minuscules et l'évier de la salle de bain laissait fuir de l'eau à sa base.
