Abbots Cliff House: sleeps 10, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (4 en-suite) 2 reception rooms, open fire, extensive grounds, ample parking, a cliff top view, hot tub and plenty of stunning sea views from almost every room.

Grand Hallway for those planning a gathering you can hire in casino tables or a pool table or other activity in this space.

Sitting room, open fire, Smart TV, seating for 10 guests (more at a squeeze), access to the gardens.

Kitchen with breakfast tables and six seats with bi folding doors to the terrace with views and hot tub. TV with Freeview wall mounted. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 4 ring hob, electric double oven. Utility room with American fridge/freezer, washing machine.

Guest WC accessed from the hallway.

Ground Floor Bedroom - sleeps 2 in a king size double bed. En-suite shower room. Exit door to patio.

First Floor



2 x double bedroom (sleeps 2 each), king size beds, both en-suite one with large wet room with shower, the other shower cubicle

Due to the cliff top location be aware of safety for children. The cliff top is only protected by a low wall.  The cliff location can become very windy and foggy in winter. 
Hot tub available at an additional cost from April to October. Hot tub use is weather dependent due to the extreme weather conditions that can be experienced on the clifftop.  It cannot be used in high winds/rain for safety reasons.
The house manager lives on site.

Perfect holiday house

Our group enjoyed a truly magical stay at Abbots Cliff House over Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated which created a warm welcoming atmosphere. The bedrooms were large and the views from each room were stunning. Steve, the owner, was easy to contact if help was ever required and Bloom Stays kept me updated throughout. It would be lovely to return in the summer.

Another fabulous stay at Abbots Cliff

Really enjoyed our weekend at Abbots Cliff. We had some sensational weather and it's wonderful to watch the changing mood and colour of the sea and sky from the house and cliffs. It's also a very peaceful place with just the occasional cliff walker or hang glider passing by. The house is very beautiful. We were really comfortable and the large bedrooms and living space allowed us to spread out and relax. We would have liked a larger table to eat at. Although there are sufficient chairs, neither dining table sits 10 easily.

What a stunning property!

A long weekend with friends and Abbots Cliff House was the perfect venue. A great location and a fantastic property. Steve the owner was really helpful and available if needed.

Great weekend stay

Fabulous Short Break

Spent a long weekend at Abbots Cliff House with our immediate family. The house is beautifully presented and well equipped. The Christmas decorations were fabulous and really got us all into a Christmassy mood. The large eat in kitchen has extensive views over the English Channel, sadly the weather wasn't kind to us, so we were unable to sit outside but the large array of rooms meant everyone had somewhere comfortable to sit and chill out. There was an extensive selection of crockery, cutlery, pans and serving dishes, which made it very easy to cater for large group. The house was always warm but the open fire added great atmosphere. Steve couldn't have been more helpful, from the pre-arrival texts, to the warm welcome and then final farewell. Would we stay here again? ABSOLUTELY!

This is the most amazing place you can stay, Over looking the Channel it is quite beautiful, and no words cannot justify the actual beauty. Steve is amazing host and is there to assist. The bunny’s that hop around make this place magical. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Beautiful Home

This VRBO was amazing. The caretaker went over and beyond. He even drove us to the cruise terminal when our taxi was too small. He was accommodating to anything we needed. Home has deep history and I feel privileged that we were able to stay there.

Stunning big house in a great location overlooking the coast

We had the best time staying at this house, the host was attentive and friendly and would pop over if we ever needed anything. The kitchen was really well equipped with all the utensils, cooking equipment and crockery etc. All the bedrooms were a great size with storage space and really comfortable beds! Bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Outside furniture was comfy and the hot tub was great, (a bit heavy on the chlorine, it was a bit intense with jets haha), lovely huge garden overlooking the coast, we really felt at home here, would love to go back!

A corporate stay with a view!

We loved Abbots Cliff for its exceptional space and rooms which was perfect for our company stay. We used the three reception rooms for separate meetings and even some reflection time walking along the garden looking out to the sea. I wasn’t prepared for that view, the photos are amazing but in the flesh it’s like being on top of the world. Or at least maybe the South of France!!

Birthday Celebration

We stayed here to celebrate my Father-in-laws 90th birthday and it certainly added a bit of luxury. The whole house lived up to expectations, comfy beds and sofas. The bedrooms were a treat with excellent bathrooms. The location of the property on the cliff top was great and he enjoyed spotting the ships and boats in the channel using the supplied binoculars. All in all we could not of asked for more, thank you.

House with a view

Wow, what a stunning view! And the house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We hired for a 50th celebration and had a private chef to cook for us which was amazing. The English coast path is accessible from the house and you can walk straight into Folkestone. Communication with Bloom Stay was easy and they were always on hand to answer questions. All in all, a fabulous weekend

Couldn’t have chosen a better house!

We all loved everything about the house. The house itself and the view were absolutely stunning. The house was spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully. It was also very comfortable and spacious. Customer service was also amazing both from BloomStays and Steve who was our contact during our stay. Questions were answered quickly and enthusiastically and we felt very welcome. It was much appreciated. Such a beautiful house. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful house, great stay

This is a truly lovely house with everything you need and the most amazing views over the shoreline and channel. We were four couples and each of the ensuite rooms was really big with nice bathrooms. The fifth bedroom., which is smaller but perfectly decorated, is next door to a separate bathroom with a big slipper bath. The beds were very comfortable, with soft linens and fluffy towels (and plenty of them!). Common spaces were ideal for the 8 of us - comfy sofas in front a well stocked fire, a large kitchen table as well as a large dining table and a few other places to sneak off and hang out. Steve was on hand to check us in and gave some great suggestions on things to do and walks to take (chpagne at the Lighthouse wsd an excellent choice) . We ate in all nights and had plenty of plates, cutlery and serving dishes. It was so nice to have that for once! The hot tub was only available for half our stay as when it blows, they strap it down so be aware the hot tub is not always available. They make that clear but worth noting if hot tubbing is your thing. It was a really easy and lovely stay and we'd definitely stay again!

A wonderful stay in history...

Staying at Abbotts Cliff House makes you feel like you've just stepped back in time to a wonderful world of sweeping staircases and breathtaking views. On arrival the owner was warm and welcoming, and the house was spotless and cosy (which was perfect in January). We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate a very late Christmas and it was a truly unique experience for us all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and all the beds were comfy. We never did manage to get the TV or DVD's to work (we were there in a middle of a storm) but luckily the kids were happy playing Christmas games! Many thanks to all for their hospitality.

A perfect place to refresh and relax

We spent three days at Abbots Cliff House for a team off-site, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Plenty of large, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, great space in the light-filled reception room for us to meet and be productive, beautiful views, fully-equipped kitchen... in short, ideal. We had all we needed for a very successful planning retreat, and even a few moments of refreshment as we could easily take a walk and take in the scenery. The owner and the management company were very helpful and responsive, and check-in was easy and straightforward. We would love to book again next year!
