About this property
Quaint Fisherman's Cottage
Relax and unwind in this Quaint Fisherman's Cottage, perfectly placed down the aptly named Squeezy Belly Alley (you will see why)! Great central location, only a stone’s throw from the port, traditional Cornish shops and eateries. This newly renovated property still boasts the traditional features of a period property, with exposed stone walls and a fully functioning "Fatso Masport" original Wood burner. The perfect place for explorers and those looking to relax!
On accessing the property, you will notice the beautiful stable door, perfect for leaving open on warmer days. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, whether that be simple cutlery for your takeaway fish and chips or if you are a budding chef, plenty of pots and pans to be able to create your own scrumptious fish dinner – What’s even better is you are just a few doors away from “Dennis Knight’s” & “Just Shellfish”, home to some of the freshest fish in Port Isaac – Salmon, Halibut, Mussels, Crab, Lobster … you name it – If they have caught it, you can have it fresh and in the fridge in minutes! Not sure what to cook? Check out the recipes provided in our guest book upon arrival!
Electric heating keeps you toasty in the cooler months or why not stoke up the traditional wood burner and cuddle up with a good book or play a board game, whilst enjoying a glass of wine!
Up the first flight of stairs you will enter a landing with access to the living room and bathroom. The bathroom has a modern shower with fluffy towels provided so you can get ready for your night out sampling the many restaurants Port Isaac has to offer. The living room allows space to sink into the sofa with a warm cup of tea, catching up on your favourite programme. With a beautiful exposed stone wall sat just behind you as a reminder to what lies behind the now modern interior. The perfect place to relax in the evening after a day of exploring.
The third floor is where the bedroom is located. With plenty of storage, exposed oak beams and a lovely cosy bed to dream about your plans for the next day. The only question you’ll be asking is whether to lie in or not?
We believe a truly special holiday should be a combination of a day’s adventures and site seeing, but with a beautiful place to come back to. Kildare is your perfect romantic stop for this! Your happy place away from home! It certainly is ours and we think you’ll agree!

What a great place to stay in Port Isaac! cozy, clean, charming, convenient to everything g downtown. Really beautifully renovated and styled kitchen and bathroom. nothing but good things to say about our stay and would recommend to anyone!
Three story cottage in a picturesque seaside town. The accommodation is done up to the highest standard and you are literally on the doorstep of a beautiful harbour with a handful of great restaurants and lovely hikes in each direction.

Port Isaac was an amazing place to stay. And our accommodations was the icing on the cake! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. An experience I will not soon forget.
Lovely well equipped cottage in a perfect location
The property was lovely - in a perfect area for this time of year right down near the harbour in amongst everything. It was clean and beautifully decorated, and extremely well equipped, with every comfort for the guest considered. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage in Port Isaac. It was tucked away on a quiet alley right off the center of town. Couldn't have asked for a better location. The hosts are amazing and have thought of every detail for vacationers. They are very responsive to all communications. It was amazing to have such a cozy "home away from home" rather than a hotel room, whenever you wanted to take a break from sightseeing or escape some rain. Loved the decor and adorable seaside theme (including seagulls, lol). Hope to be back again one day.
This is a lovely cottage in the center of Port Isaac with all the charm and character you would expect in such a quaint village. We absolutely loved it here. The cottage is well equipped. Most importantly, the hosts were superb with directions and quick to reply. We look forward to returning. Thanks again.
The house was very small but beautifully appointed. Parking at the top of a hill may cause problems for some but a slightly longer walk was much flatter and we took the car halfway down the hill to unload.
All the rooms were decorated with love and both the living room and bedroom were very comfortable. The welcome pack was lovely too.
The location was great, with pasties, beer and other treats on the doorstep.
Highly recommend, so long as you’re okay with stairs.
