What a great place to stay! If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place on the river, this is it. We had 5 days of bike riding, fishing, tubing and caught a local concert in Todd with the rest of the town. We will definitely be staying here in the future. Thank you AJ for a wonderful time!!

Fantastic!

Loved our time at the Garden Gate Barn Loft in Fleetwood, NC! Secluded location on the river, great views of the mountains. Very well appointed and comfortable, the unit had everything we needed. Easy and quick drive to nearby towns, golf, and a wonderful winery. Perfect place to experience the mountains of western NC!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to get away from it all and relax. Soak in the jacuzzi tub or take a walk by they river. You will not be disappointed. Just a short drive away, you can spend the day in Boone checking out the local shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful retreat

This was our second time staying at this barn loft. This time we stayed in the opposite room. We loved it just like we loved our first stay there a couple years ago. It is beautiful and peaceful. The host is responsive if you need them but otherwise you are left to enjoy your stay in privacy. There are some drinks and special coffee when you arrive plus robes and fresh flowers. I am certain that we will be back.

As avid travelers and citizens of the world, we open our doors to all people of the world. We love meeting new people and learning about their adventures. Whether relaxing on the gazebo, sitting by the river or chilling out around a bonfire, we look forward to sharing stories and fun times in this beautiful corner of the world.

Why they chose this property

We have been looking for our"fairy tale property" for years. We always wanted a place where we could host guests and at the same time live the outdoor lifestyle we love. This summer we found it in "the coolest corner of North Carolina" and could not be more thrilled.

What makes this property unique

An old farm house on flat land (in the mountains), next to one of the oldest rivers in the world and with a beautiful big old barn with lofts ready for said :0)! You will fall in love. Come share it with us.
