Amazing Property

The cabin is very nice and well equipped. We were very impressed Anna and Vernon the Host were fantastic. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if there had been a cover over one of the porches as we tried to spend as much time outside as possible the rain made it tough. With that being said that is not a complaint we brought rain coats, so we still had a great time. I will share the location with others

Like stepping back in time

This would be a great place to stay with a large group. We liked exploring the 100+ year old house and the beautiful property. Keep in mind that an old house has flaws and make that part of your adventure.

Why they chose this property

Peaceful, quiet, clean air and water. You can unplug and unwind, or stay minimally connected with our less than effective wifi, or bring your own hotspot (Verizon works best).

What makes this property unique

Our lake/pond. It is fed by mountain springs, and fresh and cool in the summer; Fall is spectacular here on the Blue Ridge. So many hiking places and nearby places to visit and enjoy.
