Our family is from all over, but originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. Lots of Chapel Hill grads. We have had this property since 1976 when our parents lived here and then ran a B&B before the internet!
Why they chose this property
Peaceful, quiet, clean air and water. You can unplug and unwind, or stay minimally connected with our less than effective wifi, or bring your own hotspot (Verizon works best).
What makes this property unique
Our lake/pond. It is fed by mountain springs, and fresh and cool in the summer; Fall is spectacular here on the Blue Ridge. So many hiking places and nearby places to visit and enjoy.
