😢

First impressions on entering were very positive -the cottage is well equipped and decorated but sadly it turned out not to be suitable for us and so left after only one night....the parking issue was worse than expected (the side streets were all almost completely covered with double yellow lines) and despite following instructions we simply could not get the cooker working.

Shirley we're terribly sorry to hear you had this experience at Heatherwood Cottage. The side street closest to the cottage almost always has space for at least one car so sounds like this was a very unfortunate time - there should be plenty of room outwith the yellow line areas. We're currently reviewing the instructions for the oven as we certainly don't ever want this to occur again, when our guests can't use one of the most important amenities in the cottage. Again, we apologise for all inconvenience caused and hope to be able to host you again in much different circumstances. All the best, and take care. The CAP Team
