Property Details:
This 76-sqm apartment is located on the basement level without an elevator. The living area is furnished with a flat-screen TV and dining table and can also be used as a work-from-home space. The apartment includes Wi-Fi, suitable for working from home and making video calls.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, electric tea kettle, toaster, full refrigerator, stove, coffee machine, microwave, and more. Full sets of dishes, cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots, pans and kitchen utensils. The apartment has a combination clothes washer and dryer. An iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and broom are available.
Both bedrooms is patio facing and furnished with double beds and quality mattresses. Professionally laundered sheets, comforters, pillows and pillowcases are provided to you, as well as bath towels for each guest. The flat has one bathroom accessible via the hallway with a shower/bathtub, toilet and sink. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer plus complementary toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap to start your stay.
Our guests’ safety is our top priority, which is why the flat is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each arrival. The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning, but portable fans can be provided upon request, subject to availability.

- Check-in starts from 3:00PM. Late check-in fees may apply after 7:00PM (see below). Late check-in is subject to availability and it needs to be scheduled at least 24 h before arrival. The host reserves the right to decline a late check-in if the guest does not meet all the check-in requirements.
- Check-out is by 10:00AM.
- Damage deposit of £800 is required before arrival. The deposit is fully refundable within 14 days of check-out, subject to property inspection and bank processing times.
- Strictly NON-smoking.
- Pets NOT allowed.
- The apartment is NOT suitable for parties, events and photoshoots and the maximum number of guests should never exceed 8 people.
- Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom.
- Please note for reservations valued over £1000, guests may be required to pay via an alternative payment method such as credit link or bank transfer for security and banking purposes.

The River Thames is just a stone’s throw away where you can stroll along the riverbanks; admire the views from London’s famous bridges, including the impressive Millennium footbridge or the famous Tower Bridge. Saint Paul’s Cathedral is located down the road and is a must-see for history lovers. Fleet Street is full of traditional English pubs and home to some of the oldest alehouses in London such as Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. A baby bed can be provided upon request for an additional fee of £50 for your stay. A baby chair can be provided for £50. Both can be provide for £70. Please inquire once your reservation is confirmed. Wi-Fi may occasionally be unstable due to connectivity issues affecting the entire area or due to the service provider.

*In the instance that you you will NOT be doing a self check-in and a member of our Welcoming Team must meet you to provide the keys: if you arrive between 7:00PM and 10:00PM there will be a £50 late check-in fee. After 10:00PM there will be a £90 check-in fee. This fee is only payable in cash in local currency. Kindly give notice via SMS or email if you will be delayed and unable to check in at your pre-arranged time. Our Welcoming Assistant will wait for you at the meeting point.
Management reserves the right to enter the property for purposes of inspection, maintenance, cleaning, or to show the unit to potential tenants. The Guest must allow Management or their representative (including workmen), with reasonable notice, access to the property at any reasonable time during their stay (except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and they cannot be contacted. In these urgent situations, Management can enter the property without giving prior notice). The Management has the additional right to conduct viewings of the property between the hours of 8:00 and 19:00. If any personal items are left behind, we will do our best to assist with their return or arrange a pick-up, but any associated costs or service fees will be the guest’s responsibility.

The property itself is probably a 3 star. Here's a summary of some of the issues we experience on our recent stay: the property management company doesn't respond to important emails or does get back to you after your stay, there isn't a phone number to reach the property manager just a voicemail box and no returned calls, check-in/out is inconvenient as it requires getting physical keys from a convenience store located about a half mile away from the property (hard to do this with luggage and kids), a credit card deposit was required outside of the VRBO platform, the property management company said all deposits are returned promptly after checking out - but ours was not (finally it was returned after 14 days which is outside of VRBO's deposit return requirements), the property is located in a basement/garden level (there isn't a balcony but there are two sunken courtyards with no furniture), the building has quite a bit of wear and tear and other residents can be heard coming and going, and finally the pullout sofa bed was uncomfortable barely usable. The location of the property seemed to be in a business area and we were able to easily walk to a couple of underground train stations.

Diese Wohnung war sauber, gut gepflegt und hatte alles, was wir für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt brauchten. Die Lage hätte nicht besser sein können—brillant angebunden und in einer sehr schönen, ruhigen Gegend gelegen. Sie bot eine gute Balance zwischen der Nähe zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten und einer dennoch ruhigen und entspannenden Umgebung. Wir schätzten besonders, wie einfach es war, sich fortzubewegen. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer guten Straße, nur 30 Minuten zu Fuß zum London Eye oder eine kurze Busfahrt, wenn Sie es vorziehen. Obwohl wir die meisten Tage früh aufbrachen und spät zurückkamen, genossen wir die Ruhe der Nachbarschaft und vermieden jeglichen Berufsverkehr in der Gegend. Der Wohnbereich war geräumig, sauber und komfortabel, was ihn sowohl für lange als auch für kurze Aufenthalte geeignet macht. Der Gastgeber war aufmerksam und machte unseren Aufenthalt einfach, indem er bei allen Fragen half, die wir hatten.
