Summary:

Enjoy staying in the heart of Pimlico, London with this duplex 3-bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of a secure residential building — NO LIFT. Self check-in from 3:00 PM by collecting keys at a nearby location. Wi-Fi is available, great for both work and leisure. A refundable damage deposit is required.



The Space:

Welcome to this duplex 79 m² 3-bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a building without a lift, perfectly situated on Great Percy Street in the heart of Pimlico. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.



Bedroom 1: Double bed, Bedroom 2: Double bed, Bedroom 3: Single bed. The apartment has two full bathrooms.



The living area is a great space to unwind, with a smart tv (flat screen) and dining table and chairs.



The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, microwave-oven combo, stove, dishwasher, Nespresso Classic coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A washing machine is available for your convenience. The flat has electric heating throughout the cooler months.

Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a £50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is £90; after 1:00 AM is £120. Please note that any late check-in fee must be paid in cash upon arrival. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!



Check-out: By 10:00 AM.



Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of £800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.



Max guests: 5 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.



Smoking: The apartment is non-smoking throughout.



Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.

Transport connections are exceptional — King’s Cross / St Pancras offers the Tube, Eurostar, and fast trains north, making it one of the best-connected spots in all of London. Islington and the Angel are a short walk away.

The rooms were clean. Host was responsive. The neighborhood is quiet. We loved the upstairs living room area more. We were hardly at the apartment because we had a lot of activities planned. But, having a fully functional kitchen was very helpful. Also, having a washer/dryer was very useful with 4 family members in the apartment. It is a steep hill to climb up to the apartment after collecting the key from the store. But, once you get up there and explore the neighborhood, it is quite pleasant. Angel tube stop and kings cross was 10 to 15 min walking distance from the apartment making traveling really easy. Also, bus services are very good in London and bus stops are really close by. Overall, a good stay!

The apartment was clean and conveniently located. It took 17 days after check-out for me to receive my deposit back in full. Our issues with the apartment: No drink coasters or tablemats, no tea towels, no bath mats, only one pillow provided person, only one set of keys which was inconvenient for a household of 5 people, dishwasher tablet dispenser does not close. Half of the window in the main bedroom was boarded up - because of this it could not be locked.

The location was very good.There was an excellent communication however the host expected us to open the clogged drain of the shower. Each time I emailed they said they have to organize it with their team. It took two days and at the end we did it ourselves. Instructing us to go and purchase a drain opener is not appealing to any guest.The cookware were extremely scratched and unhealthy. So when we asked for a proper pan they asked us to go and purchase it and then send the invoice or pick it up from somewhere….. Again, they had to organize it with their team which eventually happened on the third day of our five days stay.Overall, the impression I got was that they don’t care as long as they get their money. I also told them it’s as if I’m talking with a chat bot!!!!I am sure the next guest would enjoy the new set of pans and pots that were supposed to be there in the first place.

Great flat, easy walking distance to cafes, pubs and stores.As described, but the wi-fi was terrible. Only really worked if we sat upstairs in the living room. Everything else was as listed. Communication was good. Housekeeper got there 2 hours early and just waited outside the door so we felt really rushed to leave. It was a little strange. Door to kitchen doesn’t stay open and heaters take a long time so the kitchen gets very cold if the door is left open. Test of the house takes a long time to heat up too, but we wore sweaters and dealt with it. The place was good and cute and we had a great time.

We really enjoyed a very nice and pleasant stay in Islington. The flat was big and well furnished. Exactly as reported in the listing. The two bathrooms were top level. Neighborhood quiet and a few-minute walk from King’s Cross, St. Pancras Int’l and a lot of bus stops and every type of shops nearby. An absolutely wonderful location to visit the whole city. Definitely recommended!

Great location in a quiet area! Short walking distance from transportation, shopping, and restaurants. Communication with Paul and team was always quick. The security deposit information is stated before booking, just a little odd and took 3 weeks from when we left London to finally get back. We did get it back in full so just know it will take some time.

Do NOT book this place. Trust me.

The place is not bad. But the showers did NOT work for about 30 hours. And the point of contact could not care less. We has a fancy dinner at a michelin one star restaurant and we had to go without taking a shower alfter a long trip from NY.They finally said they will be sending someone next morning so we waited to be able to shower before we went out. They arrived 2.20 pm. So we lost most of sunday waiting…I think the person that answers is actually Ai because he will give us all the obvious answers every time.So if you really want to enjoy your holidays just choose another home. This has been my worst experience at Vrbo. We asked to be compensated and they deny the ask.

Mold in bathrooms

The check in process was ok. It is done by picking up the key at a nearby shop, drop off for the key is at the same place. We did walk from the shop, with luggage, to the property and it was not far, but it is a walk up a hill, older people may prefer to take an Uber.The two bathrooms had mold, a lot of mold, in the shower area and on the ceiling, and one bathroom also had mold on the shower curtain.The stairs to the second level doesn't have any stair rails, the stairs are a bit steep, so this is a big safety hazard.The furniture in the living room is very very low to the ground. If the guests are older people they will have difficulty sitting down but especially getting up.The kitchen is ok. The bedroom sizes and bathroom sizes are ok. One bedroom had human hair on the sheets, which means it was not washed or at least not washed properly.The neighborhood is a residential area, there's a mini grocery store only 3 minutes away walking distance that has just about everything you could need.Also nearby is tons of restaurants, it was only a brief 8 minutes or so walk away.The biggest problem we had was seeing the mold in the bathroom shower areas and the non-responsiveness of the property owner who never returned my calls. The property owner did reply to a text message after I had already returned to my native home. VRBO said I had to work it out with the owner.My daughter was so grossed out by the mold in the shower that she left and stayed in a hotel.
Living Room furniture is very low to the ground. If I took the TV remote control and stood it on the floor, the furniture is just a tiny little bit higher than the top level of the remote control.
