Lovely little cottage in a great location and quaint village. Had a lovely time here and would recommend it to anybody thinking of staying in Somerset. Parking initially worried us but actually caused no issues - parking on the road, opposite the cottage was fine. Thanks for having us!

Great!

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is cosy and had everything we needed. Perfect base for exploring the local area. Pilton village is beautiful and very quiet.

No 2 is a lovely listed cottage with a secluded rear garden. As it’s an old cottage the staircase is steep and narrow with a rope rail for support. It’s well equipped if cooking meals in. The parking in the lane is tight but works once you get used to it.Pilton has some of the steepest lanes in England but you can approach the village on the level via Pylle.

A beautiful cottage in a special place

Wow - what a wonderful stay we had! The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and has clearly had a lot of care and attention poured into every detail. The sound system was a real bonus and really made the place feel extra special. We loved looking through the photo album left of the renovations Darren and Nicky had done over the years! The village itself is beautiful too, a really peaceful tranquil place if you’re looking for a true getaway. We had a meal at The Crown in the village on a Friday night and were lucky enough to be there on a night with music and lots of dancing. The locals were all very friendly and welcoming (as was the cider!). Darren was brilliant and there for any questions we had. He got back to us very quickly and even recommended a lovely walk around the village. We didn’t have a car but didn’t feel we needed one on reflection - there is plenty to explore and a bus to Glastonbury town too which was a really special day out (the tor is a must!). I would happily stay at this beautiful cottage again - in fact I want to move in! I’d recommend it to anyone. Thank you Darren and Nicky.

Le cottage de Darren est absolument adorable, un véritable havre de paix. Le jardin à l’avant du cottage est adorable ( nous avons eu la chance de venir au printemps et de profiter du fleurissement -et un écureuil est même venu nous rendre visite). Tout est cosy et confortable. La cuisine très bien équipée avec un large choix d’épices. La chambre est charmante avec une literie très confortable et cocoon. Darren a fourni des indications très claires et complètes pour notre arrivée. Tout était parfait. Merci.
