Situated directly on the coastline of Passamaquoddy Bay, nestled within 28 acres, the Carriage House offers a unique opportunity for relaxation, solace and stunning sunsets.
You will have spectacular views of the Bay and across to St. Andrews and Ministers Island.
Walk to our beach to explore the beautiful coastline and experience the dramatic Fundy tides (Up to 21ft between high/low water), or relax on the large deck watching the bald eagles glide by. A birders paradise.
The Carriage House consists of an open plan lounge, kitchen area with access via 8ft patio doors to a large westerly facing deck overlooking Passamaquoddy bay. The deck has two sun loungers, a Weber Bbq, table and chairs. The newly fitted kitchen with granite countertops has all the facilities you will need. The bedroom with king size bed affords spectacular views over the bay from the large picture window. The en-suite bathroom has a large soaker bath, shower. toilet and vanity. Air conditioning and heat is provided by the convenience of a heat pump with an additional Pacific Energy wood stove.
Below the accommodation is a small gym with a Concept 2 rowing machine, recumbent cycle and treadmill. There is a 50” TV on the wall to take your mind off your pain as you work out.
A small utility room also contains a washer & dryer and further toilet.

We are close by to the fishing village of Back Bay, and Greens Point Lighthouse & Museum.
Drive aboard the free Deer Island car ferry, a 5 minute drive away, for a trip to Deer Island, where the incredible tidal current of the Bay of Fundy creates unlimited adventure. While on the island be sure to visit Deer Island Point Park and Eagle Shadow Hiking Trail at Chocolate Cove for breathtaking views and some lovely spots to have a picnic.
St George with its supermarket, butchers and pub is a 15 minute drive away. St Andrews (whale watching, restaurants and shopping etc) and the border town of St. Stephen are about 35 minutes drive away. Saint John is an hour away.
There is no public transportation except the free Deer Island car ferry which is close by.
The Carriage House’s accomodation is situated above the garage on the first floor. Access is via a stairway inside the building and thus is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
No need to worry about bringing bottled water. Our drinking water is some of the best you’ll find, supplied from our deep well within the granite rock structure on which our property is situated on.
