This was our second stay, this time for a month. We would highly recommend this accommodation for so many reasons: a lovely, well kept, well equipped apartment, a lovely garden with stunning views, excellent communication from the owner Didier, hospitable & kind welcome from Xavier, ideally situated to explore the surrounding areas & a place just to relax in & enjoy Gordes

Wonderful

Such a lovely place. Easy walking to Gordes and easy drives to the wonderful Luberon villages. The house is well equipped and close to the lovely pool. Our second time at the Bastidon and won’t be the last.

Very enjoyable stay. The house is clean and well equipped. From kitchen utensils to towels and bed linnen to furtniture. Ceiling fans only (no airconditioning) which was not a problem for us with temperatures maxing out between 25-30 degrees. The pool and other common grounds are clean and well taken care off. Gordes is beautiful and offers restaurants, cafes and bakeries. and easily reached by foot. Plenty of beautiful villages and activities in the surrounding area.

Incredibly well appointed and perfectly located

With so many accommodations booked over many years and many with high expectations and then found to be disappointing , this has to be the best equipped self catering apartment in terms of kitchen appliances and utensils we have ever stayed at! The location, parking, (VITAL IN GORDES) comfortable beds and bedding, and so peaceful, the small garden was simply perfect as a place to unwind. Couldn’t fault it, and being felt so welcomed on our arrival and shown where everything was an added bonus. There is always a downside.. we could have and should have stayed longer!!! Thank you ( swimming pool too cold for us ( from Queensland Australia, but looked perfect!))

Lovely apartment

This is a lovely apartment & we thoroughly enjoyed making it our home for 3 weeks. Our favourite aspect was the fantastic garden, it has sun & shade all day, is very peaceful & has stunning views. The kitchen is really well equipped making it easy to cook anything. The complex is really well maintained, secure & has a lovely swimming pool. We’re really glad we chose this apartment as it has one of the best positions. It’s a short walk to the centre of Gordes & was an excellent base from which to explore the rest of Provence Didier was very helpful in all our pre holiday communications & Xavier, who met us during our stay, was friendly & very helpful We would thoroughly recommend this apartment

Great vacation property

We really enjoyed our stay here. Property was perfect for our requirements, being a family of 4 (2 children under 10 years old.) The pool area was lovely with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the water! The host was really helpful and Gordes is a beautiful location. Highly recommended!

Great place for a family pool vacation

We enjoyed a lovely week in the apartment, which is nicely arranged. (Very little space for luggage, but the closets are clean.) The pool is cool and beautiful, a true highlight of our visit. Despite ceiling fans and shutters, the apartment heated up quite a bit during the day, but that is also par for the course - Provence in July.

Tolles Ferienhaus in schöner Anlage

Das Haus befindet sich in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Anlage. Wir fanden insbesondere die schöne WohnkĂŒche und die geniale Terrasse toll. Die Betten waren sehr angenehm auch wenn die Betten im Kinderzimmer wirklich nur fĂŒr Kinder geeignet sind. Die Ausstattung in der KĂŒche war sehr umfangreich.

Superbe !

Nous avons passé 3 semaines au Bastidon. Le logement est plus que conforme à sa description. Les espaces sont bien pensés, le lieu est trÚs bien équipé, le mobilier est moderne, le jardin un havre de paix, la piscine sublime (& rarement surpeuplée malgré le nombre de logements du domaine). Le domaine est trÚs reposant (pas de voitures à l'intérieur) à seulement 10 minutes à pied du centre de Gordes, et à proximité de nombreux sites intéressants dans la région et des villes d'Avignon et d'Aix-en-Provence. Et pour finir, nous avons eu un trÚs bon accueil, de la flexibilité et de la disponibilité de la part des propriétaires ainsi que de nombreuses informations utiles ! Bref un séjour au top !

De trĂšs bonnes vacances

Séjour en famille agréable dans un trÚs joli domaine. Le batisdon est trÚs sympathique et ultra calme, situé sur le chemin de la piscine, il est trÚs bien équipé. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. Un seul bémol, il n'y a pas de climatisation dans la location. Durant cette semaine qui a été hyper chaude, nous avons eu un peu de mal à dormir. Il y a de grands ventilateurs mais ils n'étaient pas suffisants. Cela dit, je recommande sans aucune hésitation

Great property in a great location

The accommodation had everything you needed to cater at home. Clean apartment with a private and secluded terrace. Swimming pool was lovely and could always get a sun bed. 10 min walk into Gordes for dinner or the boulangerie. Great location for exploring the Luberon valley.

Du soleil, une agrĂ©able maison avec tout le confort (linge de maison fourni : linge de lit, serviettes de toilette et mĂȘme l'Ă©ponge et le torchon de cuisine!!), une vue magnifique, un accueil chaleureux, que demander de plus! Wunderbares, modern eingerichtes und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus fĂŒr entspannten Urlaub in Gor

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Schon der erste Emailkontakt war sehr freundlich und die Übergabe klappte problemlos. Die Betten waren bezogen, es gab aureichend Hand-, Dusch- und PooltĂŒcher. Der Vermieter dieses Hauses hat zusammen mit dem des Maribeau (anderer Stil aber ebenfalls super ausgestattet) haben ihre HĂ€user vor drei Jahren aufwendig modernisiert und einen höheren Standard erreicht, als wir das bei den anderen in der Anlage gesehen haben. Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man zu einem entspannten Urlaub braucht. Abseits vom Trubel in Gordes auf der anderen Talseite braucht man nur 10 Minuten Fußweg in das Ortszentrum, zum Markt und zum Schloss. Wir können das Haus jedem weiterempfehlen!

Wonderful apartment / Joli appartement

Situated in a quiet private residence with gated parking, this newly renovated apartment has the added bonus of a lovely dry stone wall garden overlooking the planes below Gordes, and hills beyond. It is well equipped, squeaky clean and furnished with style.. including the garden
and looks just like it does in the photos We were warmly welcomed and well looked after by M Salafa’s friend Philippe. The only negative point is the WiFi. This is shared by the whole complex and does not have the capacity to handle the demand.. so frequently drops out (though I understand there are plans to upgrade this) SituĂ© dans une rĂ©sidence privĂ©e calme avec parking fermĂ©, cet appartement rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©, a l'avantage supplĂ©mentaire d’un beau jardin avec un de mur de pierre traditionnel donnant sur les plans ci-dessous de Gordes, et les collines au-delĂ . Il est bien Ă©quipĂ©, propre et meublĂ© avec gout.. y compris le jardin ... Nous avons Ă©tĂ© chaleureusement accueillis par un ami de M Salafa, Philippe. Le seul point nĂ©gatif est le WiFi. Ceci est partagĂ© par l'ensemble du complexe et n’a pas une capacitĂ© suffisante

TrĂšs joli bastidon tout confort

Nous avons passé 2 semaines trÚs agréables dans ce trÚs joli gßte décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. La résidence est trÚs calme. Le bastidon est prÚs de la piscine ce qui est trÚs pratique avec les enfants. Il a une jolie vue dégagée cÎté terrasse sur le luberon. La résidence est trÚs bien située à 5 minutes à pied du centre du village. L'accueil sur place est trÚs bienveillant. Nous recommanderons sans hésitation cette location à nos amis. Caroline et Géraud

joli gite

tres joli gite aménagé avec beaucoup de gout. Accueil par un ami du propriétaire trÚs sympathique. Petit bémol : la piscine commune à 40 gites est trés difficilement accessible, tout comme le seul et unique lave linge prévu pour pour l ensemble du domaine. Cependant, le site est magnifique, tres bien aménagé. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable. Eric et Lina
