The most historic building in The Abbey complex on the shore of beautiful Loch Ness houses this extremely comfortable apartment set on 2 levels in the Moat House.
Fantastic views in 3 directions - from the living area over the extensive park grounds and cricket pitch towards the village, from the upper level towards the rolling Highland Hills and over the cloister gardens and towards the Monastery.
Maximum occupancy of 6 guests.
This apartment accommodates 6 as it has a private separate area in the upper lobby which lends itself as a private reading/relaxation area or as a third bedroom. Moat House 6 has been completely refurbished with high quality furnishings and tasteful decor.
The lower floor has a large lounge with widescreen TV, large sofa's and a dining table seating 6. There is a separate kitchen with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, cooker, hob, microwave and all the kitchen utensils you could need for your stay.
The upper floor has a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedded room with a family bathroom, plus the separated area with a sofa bed.
A cot and highchair are also available.

A pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay over all however there were a few little things that bothered us. The apartment door was tricky and all the doors in the apartments are heavy and don’t stay open unless you move something heavy to hold them open. The swimming pool has to be booked in advance so limits you to what you can do if your desired times aren’t available. We enjoyed the pool and spa time we had. The immediate area is very sweet with lots of food choices. We didn’t eat in the resort restaurant.

Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und schnell. Waren früher da und konnten spontan früher rein. Gordon war innerhalb von 5 Minuten da. Das Appartement ist sauber, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Zentral gelegen kann man von dort seine Tagesausflüge starten.Einziges Manko war die Küche. Nicht weil sie klein war sondern die Angst eines Feueralarmes hat uns abgehalten dort zu kochen. Die Küche ist klein, hat aber alles was man braucht. Die Hinweisschilder wiesen uns darauf hin, dass die Feuermeldeanlage sehr sensibel ist und schon bei Benutzung des Toaster ausgelöst werden kann. Trotz Lüftungsanlage haben wir uns nicht getraut zu kochen, da ein Fehlalarm kostenpflichtig ist. Pool kann man für 55 Minuten reservieren. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Für E-Autos stehen dort 2 Ladesäulen von Pod Point (7kW, unser Polstar hat aber nur mit 3,8kW über Nacht geladen) auf dem Parkplatz. Die 2 weiteren Ladesäulen die laut der Pod Point App vorhanden sein sollen haben wir nicht gefunden und bleiben uns ein Rätsel.
