This luxurious holiday home is ideal for couples or families, it has 2 bedrooms and has a maximum occupancy of 6 people with the use of a double sofa bed in the lounge. On the 3rd floor (stairs only) and just off the Atrium, the apartment is a minute from the swimming pool, sauna and steam room and just a short indoor walk to the gymnasium. Please note that you are welcome to use all available facilities however they are not a condition of the booking.
This spacious apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and there are original feature sandstone pillars in all rooms and in the hallway.

The open plan lounge and kitchen are very well equipped with a stylish granite worktop in the kitchen, gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave oven, kettle and toaster.
The spacious lounge with its two comfortable sofa’s are set off beautifully by the oak flooring which you will find throughout this apartment. For your enjoyment there is also a flat screen television with freeview, DVD player and FREE WI-FI.
Taking the three steps down from the lounge leads you to an attractive dining room with seating for up to 6 people. The large master bedroom has a lovely oak king size bed, chest of draws, fitted wardrobe, Ipod Doc and television.
The en-suite bathroom has both a bath and shower. The twin room is also beautifully decorated with tasteful furnishings and is adjacent to a second bathroom which also has another bath and powerful shower. Fort Augustus Abbey is a wonderful place to enjoy your holiday or short break.

We loved our stay here! It was clean, updated and a great location to explore the Highlands. Major Harry Potter vibes in the main square and courtyard. The pool, steam room, and lounge were an incredible addition to this lovely accommodation.

Awesome location and stay at the country club. Everything was explained upon arrival and excellect accomodation. Kids had a fun time exploring the grounds and watching the rabbits and other annimals. Would stay again.

Unique place to stay.

Mike made sure we were fully conversant with the flat, grounds and facilities which was very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay and felt we had everything we needed. The flat was very comfortable and spacious and the setting is absolutely superb. So much to do in Fort Augustus and would definitely stay again.

The estate where the apartment is located is truly impressive. Driving through the gates and along the tree-lined avenue towards the imposing building feels almost awe-inspiring – a bit like arriving at Hogwarts. The communal areas, such as the ping pong room, the lounge with billiards and chess, the beautiful cloister, and the swimming pool, all add to the unique atmosphere. The garden and the path along the water are also lovely.In contrast, the apartment itself is rather plain. It offers all the basics – comfortable beds, a reasonably well-equipped kitchen, a shared living area, and Wi-Fi – but it lacks a smart TV for streaming and could use a more magical, playful interior to match the building’s charm. At the moment, it feels more like a standard hotel room. The welcome was very warm: a staff member met us at the parking area and guided us to the apartment. Fort Augustus is also a great base for excursions. Overall, a stay here is definitely recommendable, even though it comes at a fairly high price.

This is the second time we have stayed in this property. The only glitch both times has been the check-in process. There is only 1 individual running the check-in process and there was no response to our attempts to contact him by phone. We later found out he was busy with other parties checking in. It was not Mike's fault. Management company should improve this process. Otherwise, this is a great property to stay in while visiting the Scottish Highlands

Fabulous location and accomadation

The Highlands Club is very laid back and a tranquil place. We enjoyed the seclusion from the hustle of the tourists, Loch Ness on your doorstep was beautiful. Everyday it had a new picture for you. The amount of space you have in the apartment is fabulous and the amenities left you wanting for no more. Will recommend whole heartedly.

Loch Ness in your back yard!

Our second stay at this location was no let down, either. We love coming here and will continue to do so. Loch Ness is literally in the back yard. The building just oozes history and architecture. Local nearby shops for everything you need.
