Are you looking for a vacation to enjoy one of the most versatile lakes in the Upper Peninsula for summer fun, a beautiful landscape to take in fall foliage, or a winter skiing and snowmobiling paradise? If so, you have found your vacation getaway!

Our cottage is in the most perfect location to enjoy all the Copper Country has to offer. We are just a few miles outside of Lake Linden, 48137 Bootjack Road on Portage Lake. Our cottage will host you with a variety of convenient amenities including an outdoor fireplace on concrete patio, open concept full kitchen/dining/living room, 2 bedrooms, mudroom/laundry room, sauna with shower, and one bathroom.

As a summer retreat, the house is just feet from the waters edge with a wonderful sandy bottom for swimming fun. The fall foliage is breathtaking in the autumn months. As a winter wonderland, you can get on the snowmobile trail in under a mile away. Or maybe you want an extended stay to visit your student at Michigan Tech University. We are just over about 17 miles away from Houghton/Hancock. Also, Copper Harbor is just a car ride away!

Anniversary trip

This was the perfect location for us to site see in the entire Keweenaw peninsula. We also traveled to the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the clouds all in a day trip. The property was beautiful, clean and modern. The sauna was the perfect ending to the day.

Best place I’ve rented in the Keweenaw

House was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. House was located close to everything we wanted to see and do. Lakefront was only 50 feet away. Planning on staying there again next year.
