We had a great stay at this lovely house. Everything was very clean and well looked after, and the beds were especially comfortable after long days at work. The shower rooms were modern and very nice to use. One feature we particularly enjoyed was the conservatory, which became a great space for all of us to relax and spend time together. We would happily stay again.

Communication with the host was excellent throughout. The accommodation was stunning, especially for a Grade 2 listed building, and felt very luxurious while still being fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect, and I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. Would definitely stay again. Be aware though, parking (which is fab to have) is exceptionally tight and a little scary to navigate.

Hi Carol, Thanks for your lovely review, we’re so pleased you enjoyed the character and comfort of the Grade II listed building and found it well equipped and perfectly located. It’s lovely to hear you’d happily stay again. Parking is indeed a little snug, as is often the case with historic properties, but we’re glad you appreciated having a dedicated space. We’d love to welcome you back.

The house is big and historically interesting and in a great location. But the weather was unusually hot and the owners should have planned for fans. It was intolerable because windows were permanently closed shut for safety. The parking is also very challenging- extremely narrow passage and hard to navigate with a large car.

Thank you for your review, Giselle. We're so pleased you enjoyed the character of the house and its excellent location. We're sorry the weather affected your stay. As soon as you contacted us, we sourced fans, but unfortunately they were in extremely high demand across the country and couldn't arrive until the end of your visit. The parking access is narrow, as shown in our listing, and can be a little trickier with larger vehicles. Thank you again for your feedback, and we'd love to welcome you again.

Fabulous, characterful building. Our stay was excellent. But, getting the keys was a complicated process that needs to be highlighted and emphasised and reinforced at every step. It was quite stressful turning up and getting in.
