The apartment is very centrally located for walking to many sites, restaurants and areas and for metro access for others. The hosts were very communicative, nice to work with, and just nice, including greeting us very very late into the evening after a several hours flight delay for us. The apartment is located in area with restaurants near by and a small plaza so nice for access but there is some noise in the evening later into the week

Our stay in the Gothic Quarter was as fascinating as we hoped. Jacob's apartment had all the conveniences we needed for our two week stay, and it was a comfortable home to come to after exploring the city. The location was close enough that we could walk to many historical sites within ten or twenty minutes. In the evening the Placa Traginers comes alive with musicians and people on outdoor tables with tapas from the two restaurants on the plaza. We were fascinated by the Roman tower walls built in the 4th century that we could see from the small balcony. The location is very convenient with cafes, small grocery stores, and the Mercat Santa Caterina, a ten minute walk to the busy market. This was a perfect spot for us, but for some who are light sleepers, the plaza remains lively until late into night, and for others who may have trouble with stairs, the three flights might be difficult. But the location and the accomodations in the apartment made for a great time.

Shops, bars and restaurants/cafes all close by. The apartment was clean tidy and the bonus of provisions in the kitchen was great. The host, Jacob, greeted us after lots communication prior to our arrival and was helpful throughout. We were confident that we had booked with experienced owners and were not disappointed. We knew if we had a problem Jacob would resolve it quickly but our stay was faultless.If you are in the city for a long weekend it is a great place to base yourself. Handy for the metro and a few minutes walk to everything you need. I would recommend this apartment highly and will book it again on our next visit.
