The location was alright. The parking was less than desirable. We had to park our car in a pay lot that was a 15 min walk away. The neighborhood is also next to a school, so there is morning and afternoon noise from the kids walking to and from. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable and the host was friendly.
The host had maintenance people come in while we were staying without any sort of warning. Felt like we were getting cased to be robbed. I confirmed with the host after that it was expected, but they’re using hostex, some AI auto responder so I have no idea if that was true or not. Very uncomfortable situation. I’m sure the whole listing is on autopilot, but a human in the loop would have prevented this situation. Hope the labor cost savings are worth it!
