Gorgeous modern apartment

We booked very last minute (on the day) and the management and housekeeping were so accommodating. The apartment was spotless, modern and very comfortable. Everything had been thought of. A fresh fruit bowl, wine and chocolates as a welcome too. The apartment is central to the bars, restaurants and shops in Ribeira Brava, and a stones throw to the seafront. I can’t recommend this apartment enough. Will be back!

Un appartement bien équipé, propre et situé idéalement. Pourtant une grande terrasse mais pas partagée. Dommage pour nous qui sommes non fumeurs d'avoir du subir une personne incorrecte qui fumait et discutait à voix haute sous la fenêtre de notre chambre dès 6h 30 le matin et qui faisait semblant de ne pas comprendre. Même le loueur n'a pas réussi à la convaincre.Donc, bel appartement mais si vous souhaitez le calme et êtes non fumeurs, abstenez vous car la terrasse peut devenir un fumoir ou parloir à toute heure. Nous concernant : la terrasse partagée, c'est terminé.Il serait souhaitable d'informer les futurs locataires de contracter au préalable un abonnement au parking municipal qui est moins onéreux que la parcmètre journalier et faciliterait grandement le stationnement.

Regarding the shared terrace, this is clearly stated in the property description so that guests can make an informed decision before booking. We also sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the behaviour of another resident in the building. Unfortunately, the actions of other occupants are beyond our control. However, as soon as we were informed of the situation, we made several attempts to contact the person involved and asked them to stop the disruptive behaviour. Sehr schöne Wohnung auf der obersten Etage. Von einem Fenster sieht man das Meer. Lebensmittel Laden ist direkt im EG. Strand fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Busbahnhof ebenfalls nur 5 Minuten entfernt.Die Terrasse wird von 3 Appartements gemeinsam auf der oberen Ebene genutzt. Der Hauseingang befindet sich auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes auf der Parallelstraße zur angegebenen Adresse. Das hat uns nachts im Dunkeln den erstmaligen Zugang etwas zum Suchspiel gemacht.Ribeira Brava ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um Madeira zu erkunden. Mit dem Mietwagen ist man in ca. 1 Stunde an jedem Ort der Insel. Funchal ist über die Schnellstraße in 20 Minuten erreichbar.
