The living room opens via patio doors onto the pool sun terrace.
The private heated swimming pool is designed with a shallow round children's pool connected to the main pool via a shallow water way available all year round.

We stayed for 7 nights and it was a wonderful location for exploring the island. The view is stunning - leave your curtains open at night to see the stars! Beds were comfortable. The host contact was easy to reach and answered all questions. Host left a welcome package of food. Overall a fantastic stay!!

Great property. We stayed for 11 days with family and i would chose it again. The location is not far from motorways going east, west and north. Very easy to explore the island from here. Ribeira Brava has a lovely black sand beach, very easy to get to by car. If you want to leave the car at home for the day, you can easily book a Bolt as well and be at the beach in less than 10 minutes.

The property is very comfortable and extremely well equiped, even in November the sun was on the patio from 9.30 am till it set. We had a wonderful relaxing 2 weeks.

Amazing views

This was a great property located at the halfway point of the island so easy to explore either side. Close to a lovely beach and easy sea bathing with lots of shops too. The roads are steep but then they are anywhere in Madeira. Certainly a good workout if you decide to go walking on the numerous paths.

Stunning villa

This property is so amazing. We arrived at night in the dark so it wasn’t until morning that we could see the fabulous view. The house is very well supplied and as an added touch the owner had left us supplies to make a simple dinner. Such a welcome bonus. A little surprised that the beautiful pool is only 3 feet deep. Great for little kiddies!

The property itself is just as described, very roomy & multi level. There was a nice welcome package with some basic grocery items, unexpected & much appreciated. Two of the bedrooms had balconies which was really nice in the mornings. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of towels in the bathrooms. We did have some difficulties reaching the manager upon arrival & had to wait around a bit. You definitely need a car to stay in the area, there are a few taxis servicing the area, very limited.

Very comfortable stay in Madeira

Our family of five stayed for five nights in March. The property was quite large, and accommodated our party easily. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary to cook breakfast and simple meals during our stay. The TV and internet worked well. There was a small pool which we did not use, as it was quite cool during our stay, but would be lovely for a dip during the summer. The property is quite high up the mountain, which allows for great views. A car rental is definitely recommended, and secure off street parking is available. Communication with the owner and property manager were quite good. Overall a great stay in Madeira.

This villa is spectacular!

I am so glad that we booked this villa! The view is absolutely spectacular, and the inside of the villa is clean and spacious. Our children loved the pool. The view from 2 of the 3 bedrooms is incredible! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the house was really quiet. John (the host) was very responsive to our questions and offered to extend the checkout time since there was no one else booked the day of our departure. We really appreciated being able to check out without having to rush. This was our family's first visit to Madeira, and we would love to return and stay at this villa again. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely stunning!

The property was beautiful. Had everything we needed. Games room was good, pool was good, location was stunning! That view……blew me away. Had never been to Madeira, but will certainly be returning. Communication with John was fantastic. We got lost going to the villa after arriving - completely my husbands fault!! Gina’s husband came to the rescue and we followed him to the villa!! Could only happen to us!! 😂 We met Gina on the last day as we were leaving, she was so lovely. Our stay was awesome, we wanted to find time to relax, and we certainly did that. Carlos is a fab local taxi driver. Property is well located for sightseeing and relaxation and a short drive to the town of Funchal. The pool was fine for my boys, 14 & 11. Although it wasn’t a deep pool, which we knew as we had read the details before going, we made up games to play in the pool, and generally soaked up the sun. It was absolutely fine. We have returned wanting to purchase a darts board!!!! And return to Madeira.

Nous avons passé 3 semaines idéales. La maison est très agréable et spacieuse. La vue est magnifique ! Ribeira Brava est à 10mn en voiture pour les courses (Voiture indispensable)La piscine est vraiment peu profonde mais nous a permis de nous rafraîchir après les randonnées Si je dois donner une piste d'amélioration : je suggère un grand parasol pour la terrasse. Cependant nous avons pû utiliser le petit parasol de plage et avons apprécié de prendre tous nos repas dehors en profitant de la vue sur mer.Je recommande sans problème cette maison.
