About this property
Walk from your family friendly house to the beach, downtown, or Wychmere Resort
Operated as a guest house for over 100 years, Harborwalk is available as a weekly rental. We rent from Sunday to Sunday, accommodating guests who attend weddings on Saturday. This updated 1880's Victorian home is known for the expansive front porch, where there is always a breeze from Wychmere Harbor. The first floor holds a large dining room seating 12, a handicapped accessible bedroom with a canopied queen sized bed and bath, and two parlors with lots of comfortable seating. The second floor has 5 bedrooms: Two have private baths, three bedrooms share a common bath. Two of the bedrooms have twins, one has bunkbeds, the other two are canopied queens. We provide the linens for you. A caretaker's apartment is located off the back of the house.
The location is ideal for one who wants to leave the car parked. Grab our beach chairs and cart and walk to the beach alongside Wychmere Harbor, the most-photographed harbor on Cape Cod.
Located in the village of Harwichport, we are steps to restaurants, shopping, and recreation of all sorts. We are close to Saquatucket and Allen Harbors as well. The boat to Nantucket is 1/2 mile down the street, as are whale and seal watching tours. Fishing? Walk out on the jetty or book a tour out to Wychmere. Golf? We have two courses in Harwichport, Cranberry Valley and the Harwichport course. Biking? The rail trail runs through Harwichport.

About the host
Hosted by Maggie Stella
Purchased by my grandparents Preston and Marilyn Barry as a retirement project. They ran a successful B&B for many years. My sisters and cousins decided to create a weekly rental so families could enjoy all the house had to offer.
We love this house and use it whenever possible for family gatherings. We have had 4 weddings so far from two generations!

Why they chose this property
This property has been in our family for 50 years. It represents memories for all of us. As small children we vacationed on Cape Cod so it seemed fitting that my grandparents wanted to retire here.
We are blessed to share it with other families as they create new memories.

What makes this property unique
By far the best spot in the house is actually on the porch. It is large and lends itself to gatherings. It is also THE best place to curl up with a good book!
