We loved this desert jewel.

Sandpiper is beautifully arranged in circles - each with about 10 units surrounding a pool and ramada. Palm and fruit trees - even a pomegranate - and seasonal blooms add to the relaxing oasis. Enjoy the privacy of the patio or chat with some of the neighbours a few steps away around the pool. The best part is that this serene setting is only steps away from central Palm Desert and El Paseo where you can walk to the most popular restaurants and shops. Cassandra's home is recently updated and well-equipped. We loved the mid-century vibe with all the modern conveniences.

Not as advertised. We lasted three days and abandoned this rental. Did not meet our minimum requirements. Found a much better place.

January stay

The “ upside” was that the supplies were EXCELLENT! 10/10! EVERYTHING that was needed was there plus much more.The downside was that since January was cool in P.D, I was constantly cold in the house. The thermostat was probably easy for most people to regulate….but not for me. Iam in my 80’s. I didn’t have communication with the property manager….I couldn’t figure out how to work the system.

Sandpiper Is Great

Perfect location with easy access to hiking, cycling, golfing,, retail, and restaurants. Condo had a fully equipped kitchen and perfect outdoor space. Shared facilities pool and BBQ were very convenient with plenty of poolside furniture.

Great Mid Century Modern Experience

Very nice period home, completely refurbished and updated. Great location near shops and restaurants in El Paseo. Unique circle concept featuring 12-14 homes sharing common heated pool in the center. Beautiful landscaping made it the perfect getaway.

Excellent condo in great location

Comfortable beds and well appointed updated condo. Roomy patio with table for meals and 2 chaise longues. 5 min walk to El Paseo drive and 15 min walk to hiking trails. Excellent.

Condo at el Paseo #231

Mostly Clean and updated with surfaces and appliances. Fabrics, pillows, rugs look faded, soiled and tired. patio and furniture outside not cleaned or wiped down before my stay and coved with good layer of silt. Too many nick knacks on surfaces to work around. Pool looked stained and scummy on bottom but water was clear. Owner was easily contacted and responded promptly. Could have used HBO, HULU or Brit box as cable offerings. 3/5 overall.

Very comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s set back away from the pool which was quiet, private and perfect for work. We enjoyed the superior kitchen appliances for home cooking such as great chopping knives, food processors etc! Beds were very comfortable. Pool area is beautiful with gorgeous views and landscaping. The unit is lovely as in the pictures. Thank you!

Relaxation and Comfort!

We spent a month at Cassandra’s beautiful condo and we felt right at home. The condo is very well stocked with everything you would need to have quiet nights or to entertain. The pool is just a walk down the steps and is beautiful. The shopping and dining is spectacular and everything is so close. I highly recommend this condo for a beautiful experience. Very nice stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Cassandra's. Highlights include the very well stocked kitchen, great layout and tasteful decor. The Sandpiper is a great community and we enjoyed the 5 weeks we were there during our home remodel. Thank you! Oh, and the pool is just perfect! We loved swimming surrounded by a flower garden.

The location off El Paseo was excellent. Close to restaurants. Cassandra was a fantastic host making sure I was settled in and checking to see if I was finding everything. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Location off the pool was a nice extra. I’ll definitely be back!

Charming authentic mid-century condo

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The home was immaculate and furnished comfortably. We particularly liked the amount of light and view from windows in front and back. Cassandra was responsive to our questions. Location can’t be beat with walkability to restaurants and stores.

So Relaxing

We had such a wonderful stay in Cassandra’s beautiful home. The beds were super comfy, kitchen well stocked and the shady patio was a welcome relief later in the afternoon when the sun was so hot. The unit and complex overall was extremely quiet, and we loved the overall mid century vibe. The gardens and pool are beautiful, and so well maintained and we spent many lazy afternoons enjoying the pool. From an accessibility perspective, it was a real treat to be able to park the car jusst steps away from the front door, so easy to carry groceries in etc. We especially loved the ability to walk to the many restaurants on El Paseo and also to the hiking behind the complex on the Bump and Grin and the Cross Trails. Thanks Cassandra...would love to return!

Wonderful Stay!

This unit at Sandpiper has all you need for a lovely desert getaway! Wonderful furnishings and a comfy bed welcome you, along with a beautifully stocked kitchen! Both a K-cup and drip coffee maker were in the unit for those interested. Would happily rent here again!

Wonderful property in prime location

we loved staying at this house that was so centrally located in Palm Desert. It was well maintained with a well stocked kitchen (utensils, dishes, etc.) and very fast WiFi. The pool was lovely as well. Would definitely stay here again if we were to travel to Palm Desert in the future.
