I had a wonderful stay at this amazing property right in the heart of ancient Ortigia! I simply could not believe my good luck at finding this spacious flat, with the huge lounge area, a huge bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a functional kitchen with all the utensils I needed, a very large modern fridge, and a lovely romantic balcony area where I took my breakfast every morning while watching the passers-by! I was right next to Piazza Duomo and the entire centre was within a few minutes on foot. Very quiet at night, surprisingly, I really enjoyed my sleep. The flat had lots of character, with ancient stones in the walls and an amazing mosaic floor. It looked like an old palazzo, straight out of a movie! Large enough for 4 people even, with two sofa beds in the lounge. Great shower too. Simply marvelous and the price unbeatable! The host was also very helpful. When I needed a small repair to the curtain, it was fixed within a few hours! Many many thanks! Mille grazie!

The apartment is in a wonderful location in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, steps away from restaurants, very close to the Duomo and Spiagga di Cala Rossa. It is quite a challenge finding the place initially due to the entering and parking restrictions and the host was not helpul in those areas so you're pretty much left on your own to figure it out.Otherwise, the host was very friendly and responsive.My biggest complaint is the apartment was not clean. The floor was dirty to the point I would not walk barefoot inside. The two couches and all the chairs' upholstery were so terribly stained, I never sat on any of them. The apartment is well equipped but the refrigerator was not working which made the kitchen almost useless for 4 days. The host did credit me 30 Euro but that didnt help during the stay.My other huge disappointment was the photos do not match the appearance of the apartment. The photos show a sparkling, bright place. In reality, it is a dark, dingy, musty cave. The only natural light comes from the windows and door on the street which you cannot leave open if you want any privacy at all. Likewise, the only source of fresh air is if the front door is left open.The place has great potential it just needs a thorough cleaning and new furniture.

We were, lured into this property by prior highevaluations, . Must’ve been evaluated by the property owner.!Entering the property that had a punch, it smell that made you think the property was dirty… guess what it was! We weren’t gonna complain to the property management until we saw cockroaches!!! they asked me numerous times to send pictures!.. which I did. Terrible customer service they did nothing to correct the situation. You should’ve been compensated financially.Don’t stay here don’t make a mistake. We did by looking at prior reviews. This is dirty, smelly dump…. If you decide to stay by the way, bring toilet paper because they don’t give you any they told us we had to go buy it.Sorry for the blatantly’s review, but I don’t want this to be fooled like we were this is it I could give it a -10 I would!! cockroaches were the thing that pushed us right over the top to make the complaint of which they did nothing!They were garbage cans in the kitchen. There was vacuum in the bedroom, stuffed in the corner a broom behind the front entry curtain. It was just totally totally ridiculous lightbulbs missing out of the socket and lightbulbs randomly hanging in the bathroom with no fixture.!! totally gross place don’t stay here. I can’t say that enough times PS final straw this morning when we checked that was they told me to take our garbage with us!!!
