Garden Cottage 70 Island Time Cottage Come stay a while!

This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom cottage-style townhome, decorated in rich tones and colorful artwork, will be sure to make any vacation brighter! The first floor is home to a large master bedroom (King) with en-suite bathroom, with access to the screened-in porch, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and both a standard and a Keurig coffee machine, as well as a bar top perfect for entertaining. Off the kitchen, you will find the spacious living room, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach, as well as access to the lower screened-in porch and outdoor patio with gas grill. The first floor also includes a powder room and a convenient laundry closet. The second-floor houses two bedrooms (KING & 2 XL TWINS) each with a private bath and access to the upper balcony, perfect for enjoying the fresh air. This cottage is conveniently located just steps from The Cottages North Beach Access. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach and a community firepit.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a beach deck, dune area and seawall.

Access Points: There are three beach access points with the main access located near the pool and clubhouse, one access point in the mid-north area and another at the south end of the Cottages.

Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time. The sand area landside of the seawall is accessible at all times for recreaation.

Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.

Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, therefore we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

We came up with a group of 4 that stayed at the cottage. There was a group totaling 40 people that were all playing golf for a friendly golf tournament. The place was well furnished, and everything worked as it should have. Will stay again if we decide to go to Jeckyll for the golf trip next year.

Relaxing island and beautiful accommodations

We had issues with the door lock when we first arrived but it got quickly resolved with a phone call. The cottage is extremely comfortable and well appointed. Loved our trip!

The property was immaculate and in pristine condition. The communication on the lease agreement and follow-up and check-in was very poor. I had to track down a phone number the day of our travel through chat to get access after non-response to multiple messages and voicemails. I have used VRBO every year for several years and never had this issue with another rental. Additionally, for the level of quality, my customer expectation for basic services in a rental is more than 1 roll of toilet paper, travel shampoo AND conditioner, basic cleaning supplies and accuracy around having beach towels (had none, said they were provided ahead of time, had to purchase). Otherwise it was an excellent property. Property management and communication 1/5. Property itself 6/5.

Great location! Great stay

Had a great week in Jekyll - the Cottages is a great little community. The pool was perfect, beach so close and everything you need is on the island. Pack your own beach chairs and be sure to grocery shop before you head to the island.

We really enjoyed this beautifully decorated condo! It had all the amenities of being at home; while just a short walk from the beach. Great location. Beautiful place

The house was very comfortable and in a great location. There was some confusion over the lack of towels but the property manager was very responsive. The water heater went out mid-week, but that was also fixed quickly after calling the property manager.
