BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

This is an amazing property. Well equipped and spacious. The complex is very nice and well maintained. Great pool. The views from the back and upper porch were spectacular. Expansive view of the ocean. Really enjoyed relaxing and gazing at the ocean. The island is a great place to ride bikes.

Relaxing time on the island

We had a nice relaxing time! Stayed three nights. Explored the island and enjoyed the sunrises from the balcony. The chairlift was an added bonus for my mother who would not have been able to manuever the stairs to the second floor without. It was a warm June but the fans on the decks helped keep us comfortable and the screened in porch meant we were bug free all evening. The first floor bedroom and bath were perfectly equipped for my mother's mobility level as well. We were just a short walk to the pool and the beach dock. Perfect location. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and spent lots of time together on the balcony staring at the ocean. The area is quiet and Jekyll Island is beautiful! We hope to come back soon.
