Our start was terrible because the code to the unit did not work. We had to wait for the manager to arrive and let us in. Despite asking multiple times, we did not receive keys and we went through the same experience on our second day, again having to wait outside the doors for the manager to let us in. Apart from entry issues, the apartment did not go through quality check prior to our arrival and was lacking cleanliness in many aspects. Few to mention: 3-4 big bags of dirty towels and sheets left in a room by the entry, no toilet paper, drinking water and many other supplies. We had to ask the manager multiple times to provide the basic items. Extra comforters were dirty and just looking at the state of it made us uncomfortable using other linens. Bidet shower had a leak. Closets were messy with items left from previous occupants, such as baby diapers etc. Iron was not usable with the shortest wire possible. As a Vrbo guest we did not feel comfortable having staff enter the unit in our absence. The only positive aspect of this property is the location and privacy level.

Worst experience ever in 20 plus years of traveling around the world. I booked this apartment about 2 months before my trip. I booked this place for 4 adults and 3 young kids. Initially, Nizzam Uddin told me to cancel the booking as the apartment was too small, however, after telling him that the kids were little, he said OK to go there. I contacted him for confirmation 2 weeks before the trip and the day before leaving, and he confirmed my stay both times. He told me to call him as soon as I would land in Rome to give me further details. So I did. I landed in Rome at 1900, called him, and he told me that we were too many people and offered me other apartments which I was not able to review way far from the place I wanted to stay and on neighborhoods I was not able to review if they were safe or not. I refused his offer, saying that he should have told me that at the beginning rather than wait until the last minute when I’m with 3 kids in an unknown city. I told him that I wanted to go to the apartment I initially chose as I was able to see that it was safe and close to everything I wanted to do while in Rome. He refused to give me the apartment, so we started to get angry to each others and he finally told me that HE WOULD MAKE SURE I WOULD LOSE MY MONEY. I was left in Rome with no place to stay on an evening. Horrible people, they should never work in this field. Horrible experience. He wanted to take advantage from people who are vulnerable as traveling with kids.
