Well appointed comfortable accommodation.Beautiful and peaceful location, a little remote but nowhere felt too far away.No local shops for day to day supplies locally but this didn’t cause any issues.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft, it was super clean and had plenty of walks that didnâ€

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft, it was super clean and had plenty of walks that didn’t require the car. We walked to Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket and sampled both pubs there. Next time we return we’d love to go up some the fells nearby. We couldn’t this time due to snow. Easy drive into Keswick and Pooley Bridge too.

Absolutely incredible stay at The Hayloft! Such a beautifully crafted place. Renovated to such a high standard! Underfloor heating is a treat too. The property was exceptionally clean, you couldn’t even tell if someone had stayed there or not! Was truly amazing. The location is excellent. Very remote with no phone signal for miles. Can’t wait to return!
