Relaxing Lake District Stay

We had an enjoyable week long stay at Fell View. The best part was the stunning views from the cottage of the fells. There were all amenities in the cottage and a lovely welcome basket from the owners. The cottage is located on a working farm but the owners were friendly and welcoming. The location of the property is easy to find, within 15 minute driving distance to Keswick or even walks from the doorstep. There is plenty of information provided about the local area and activities you can do. There aren’t any negatives save that there was a leaky kitchen tap which can be easily resolved. We will definitely be back!

Lovely cottage with great view

A quiet location with good views over the fells - a joy to sit in the lounge with this lovely vista. Nice walks from the front door without having to take the car. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed, although we could not find a dustpan to go with the brush in the kitchen. A problem with the immersion heater on our last day was resolved promptly and. without fuss. A perfect location for those seeking peace and solitude.

A very comfortable and enjoyable week.

We had a lovely week in the cottage, it was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the homely touches of pictures of the Lake District and the soft furnishings with pictures of sheep! The views from the cottage were excellent and we enjoyed several walks around the immediate area.
