Lovely, quiet apartment in the center of Paris. Many shops, restaurants, metro and bus lines literally right outside your door. The apartment is centered on a courtyard which brings in a lot of light and is very quiet. Your host, Catherine is a delight!

We loved waking up to the sound of birds singing! Lots of them! You don't hear any sounds from the streets or other apartments. The apartment is great for 2 people, the location was the best! Walking distance from the metro, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants and in front of a mall. We loved staying here and would stay again!

we loved the quiet, peaceful apartment in the heart of the busy arrondissement, with its balcony overlooking an urban oasis. it was perfect for us - well-equipped kitchen and laundry services. we had great communication with the host and asked her advice on where to shop for local butchers and grocers. she was very helpful and welcoming.

The apartment had a terrific location! Steps from the Metro, good restaurants, and shopping. Centrally located to several top attractions (30 minutes walking, at most). Clothes washer/dryer was so convenient, as we try to travel light. Catherine quickly responded to questions. Lovely patio to relax at the end of the day. It was so very easy!!!

The kitchen had everything we wanted for making dinners. The washer and dryer worked great. The apartment is very quiet. The location is EXCELLENT! It is immediately adjacent to Les Halles (two Metro stations, easy connections). It is in easy walking distance to Musée de Louvre, Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Tuileries, and more. There are plenty of lovely dining spots nearby (we particularly recommend Au Terminus du Châtelet, a few blocks away). We felt very safe in the neighborhood.

A very comfortable and charming place that makes everything that one could want available (for sleeping, cooking, relaxing, etc.)And even though it is literally in the heart of the tourist area it is very secure and incredibly quiet.

I have never stayed in the 1st Arrondissement before, but was so pleased with the location. Major sites are easily walkable, lots of restaurants, shopping on Rue St Honor and the convenience of Chatelet Les Halles right outside the door was amazing. And even though the apartment building is located in a busy area, we heard no street noise as the apartment overlooks an interior courtyard full of greenery. Very peaceful. The apartment itself is roomy and very comfortable. We loved it and look forward to staying again

Lovely apartment with beautiful balcony. Great location, by les Halles, rue Montorgueil, rue de Rivoli, easy access to all of Paris. Many, many restaurants nearby. Owner is an artist, and her paintings grace the apartment.

First visit to Paris

This VRBO was exactly as advertised. Great location with the Metro stops very close. In a busy area but the apartment was super quiet. Bed was comfortable and the washer and dryer are a plus. Tons of shopping and restaurants close by. Overall a nice place great location.

Lovely, spacious and quaint

This is a perfect apartment for 2 travelers where my cousin and I had separate sleeping areas. Tons of storage and ample closet space made organizing upon arrival a snap. Also, the location is convenient to Metro buses and trains allowing for inexpensive travel throughout our stay.
