Rushing stream right out the back door with long porch and rocking chairs. Spent most of our time on the porch. Clean, large house and comfortable beds.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful location. The house is gorgeous, and sitting on the porch next to the creek was magical. We really enjoyed seeing the deer, chipmunks, and hummingbirds, as well as the amazing views of the spectacular mountains and trees. We would definitely recommend staying here, and we would love to return in the future.
We loved our stay on River Dance cabin on the creek. Very relaxing, beautiful cabin and scenery. Special thanks to the owners of cabin for allowing people to experience Colorado’s beauty. Long drive from DFW but we’ll worth it.
As the title says, this was our third time renting the property. We absolutely love the setting, privacy, surrounding nature and accommodations. The house is well stocked with pretty much everything you need and is always clean. This will likely not be our last time staying here!
Only issue was the grey cabin next to us had different guests checking in every couple of days. The last family had 5 dogs, one of which was a pit bull. All unleashed.
The house looked just as shown in the pictures. The river was beautiful and my grandkids spent hours playing in it. It was pretty warm in the house between 4pm to about 8pm, but a box fan was delivered the last day we were there and that was really helpful. Of course by midnight everyone was grabbing covers. Beautiful setting and very enjoyable.
The cabin was amazing. Kitchen was fully stocked and I mean one had anything needed to cook. Both propane and charcoal grills gave us options on dinner choices. The best part was the back porch only 15-20 yards from the creek. The beds were amazing!! Cell service was great as well even though we unplugged must of the time. Couldn’t ask for a better place. We will be back for many years to come!!

Roaring River View just 20 yards from back porch!
I am becoming an expert at finding the greatest places to stay during vacation! This place is perfect. The river is roaring and sounds wonderful from the back porch area. The king size bed was very comfortable. The cabin is the most well-stocked that we have ever seen with all the wants and necessities. There is only one thing that I would change and that is the sign that says “This is a Shoes Off Home.”

We are so very glad you enjoyed your stay! We do let guests know this is a "shoes off" home in order to protect the home and limit the wear and tear for our owners. We do state this in our arrival directions we send well ahead of your stay and let you know to bring slippers if needed. We feel it is a small thing that really helps our owners homes stay in pristine condition. We hope you stay with us again!
We loved the somewhat remote location of this property. We were there early October and the fall foliage was stunning. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the magpies and ground squirrels around the creek. The sound of the water was so relaxing. It’s hard to describe the beauty of a clear moving creek.
We came to this location after a few days in Pagosa Springs vacationing with my sister and brother in law. We certainly appreciated king beds in two of the bedrooms for both couples. The decor was stylish and appropriate. We also enjoyed the fireplace to take the chill off in the mornings. We’d strongly recommend this Vrbo to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing getaway.
Lovely home on the beautiful creek! The front and back porches allow you to follow the sun or rest in the shade any time of day. Just steps to the creek where the sound is relaxing and you may see a few ducks floating by. The kitchen is well equipped for most complex recipes and seasoned cooks. This was our second visit to this home and it did not disappoint.
The place was really nice and super clean and the view was breathtaking. You could hear the peaceful creek frond inside the house. It was really nice! The only thing is, it’s a little ways from everything. You’ve got to drive a ways to get to a store or restaurant
The house was wonderful. Picture postcard views abound from the creekside porch...complete with4 rockers! The home had everything we needed including a like new Weber gas grill AND a Weber charcoal grill. It's a 45min drive to Durango but the roads are great and the drive is scenic. We would stay here again!
We were in the area for work and to visit friends who live at the lake. I must say it was difficult leaving the cabin for daily activities with its inviting rocking chairs on the back porch that overlook the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. We will stay here again.
Lovely cabin with river/creek right outside the back door with lovely rocking chairs to enjoy the mornings and evenings. Beautiful decor and very comfortable and spacious. The check out requirement of washing AND putting in the dryer a load of towels (of which there was only one per person) was inconvenient for us as we left early. Asking guest to put in washer only would be more reasonable.
We had a fantastic stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had all we needed to cook and grill our own meals. There was plenty of space in the fridge and to store dry goods in the cupboards. The freezer had space for all our cold packs. Everyone slept well with no complaints about the beds. The porches were the favorite spots to hang out, especially the back porch along the river. Despite houses nearby and across the river, the neighborhood was peaceful. This rental really made the trip for us. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
The cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in and we stay in a lot of them! Beds were very comfortable. Internet is a bit slow as they mention but shut off the electronics and look out the window!
My family - 3 adult children and my wife and I stayed here over the holiday for a week. It was really nice. The property is spotless. The amenities are plentiful. Good assortment of necessary cooking utensils, pots and pans. Coffee pot in good order - just bring coffee. There are stores close by if you forget anything. Awesome fire ring in front of property where we spent hours by the fire letting the snow fall on us. Internet worked great for the location - I had low expectations but it worked for what we needed. BBQ is present - they gave a gas and charcoal - all in great working order. It is right on the river/stream - we will definitely stay here again when the river is not covered in snow. Plenty of great walking from the front door. Beautiful. Local caretaker was Johnny on the spot to plow the snow - but you do need a 4 wheel drive if you are needing to move about before the plows get moving. Best of all - the scenery is just gorgeous in every direction.
