The apartment has a great deal of potential, and the beautiful views of the city, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. However, our stay was affected by a number of maintenance and comfort issues. The promised toiletries were not provided, the pillows did not have pillowcases and appeared to be firm Euro pillow inserts rather than sleeping pillows, and there were no dish towels in the kitchen. The refrigerator door was broken, a living-room lamp did not work, and the bedroom air-conditioning unit was not functioning. A temporary unit had been installed in the window, but it was extremely loud. The laundry room was also very dark because only one light worked, and the bathroom lights repeatedly failed, requiring us to climb onto a stool to push them back into their sockets. There was also a broken mirror on the bathroom closet doors.We were also disappointed with the management’s handling of our request to shorten our reservation by one night. We made the request many months before our arrival, but it took quite some time to receive a response. When they finally replied, they would not allow the change, even though the rental terms did not state that reservation modifications were prohibited. As a result, we had to pay for an entire day and night when we were no longer occupying the apartment.The apartment is in a desirable location and has lovely views, but it needs better maintenance, attention to guest comfort, and more responsive and accommodating management.

Overall, the apartment has a lot of potential and was certainly adequate for our stay. The views are wonderful, and we can see why guests would enjoy the property. Since you asked for feedback, we did want to mention a number of maintenance and housekeeping items that could use some attention. It appears that some maintenance has been deferred, and addressing these issues would make a meaningful difference in both guest comfort and the upkeep of the property. We were not provided with some of the toiletries mentioned in the listing, such as shower soap and shampoo. The pillows did not have pillowcases and appeared to be Euro pillow inserts rather than sleeping pillows, which made them quite hard and uncomfortable. There were also several maintenance issues we noticed. A lamp in the living room does not work, the refrigerator door in the kitchen is broken, and there were no dish towels. The mini-split in the bedroom was not working; while there is a temporary window unit in place, it is quite loud. Only one light works in the laundry room, making the room very dark at night. The bathroom lights also repeatedly stop working and require climbing onto a stool to push them back into their sockets, which could be a safety concern. There is also a broken mirror on the bathroom closet doors. That did not inconvenience us, but we thought you should be aware of it. These are just some of the items we noticed that we believe deserve attention, both to protect the value of the property and to improve the safety and comfort of your guests. As fellow vacation-rental owners, we understand how challenging it can be to maintain a property and consistently provide a five-star experience. Since you specifically asked for feedback, we wanted to share these observations privately in the hope that they are helpful.
