Champs Elysees Bright Spacious Luxurious 1 bed Unit
This is our own unit which we use when we come to Paris to stay as we live in the south-west of France. It is very comfortable and filled with lots of beautiful antiques and artwork that we have collected over the years; it feels very homely and of course very Parisian!
The unit is open plan with a large kitchen and living area and a spacious bedroom with a king size bed. It is located in one of the prime residential areas of Paris in the 8th arrondissement, yet is only a 3-minute walk from the Champs Elysees and all its marvels. This is a very chic area of Paris, surrounded by 4 and 5 stars hotels, plus luxury stores and amazing restaurants. If you want a shopping experience then this apartment is situated in the middle of the most exclusive shopping area of Paris. All the best shops in the world are located on your doorstep - Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Bvlgari, Armani, etc and the outlet store la Piscine.
The location of the apartment gives you all the advantages of the Champs Elysees without the hustle and bustle on living on it, as it is tucked away just behind on a small quiet street. As this is a residential area there are bakeries, grocery stores, a post office and a chemist located just next to the apartment. It is really living the true Parisian experience. It is very safe and there are police cars constantly patrolling the area.
Avenue Montaigne (most excusive shopping street in Paris) and the Arc de Triomphe also are just on your doorstep, along with the famous Lido cabaret, plus the Eiffel tower is a short stroll away too. Walking down towards the other end of the Champs Elysees is the Tuilleries gardens and in the lead up to Christmas this is the most beautiful spot in Paris as the avenue is set alight with lights and Christmas markets, plus summer and winter there is a huge ferries wheel, a must for a view of Paris buy night. About a 30-minute walk away you have the Louvre, the Palais Royal, Musee d’Orsay and beyond this is the Marais area. You really do not need to take public transport as all the major attractions are walking distance from the apartment or a quick stop on the central and safe metro line.
The unit is 70 square meters, which is huge for a one-bedroom unit in Paris and is perfect if you need to entertain. The entry and living/dining room are on the ground floor and the bedroom is on the floor below. It is completely secured with a door code, another security door, then the unit front door. This is a residential building with French occupants of high standing so it is very well maintained.
The large windows of the unit can be opened and have discreet security grills. There is a huge, fully equipped brand new kitchen, with everything required to cook a 5-course dinner, plus a large dinning table for 4 people, which would double as a lovely bright working area. All the appliances are brand new and of the highest quality. There is a refrigerator with small freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine/dryer, 4 cooking elements plus all new French cutlery and crockery plus everything else you would expect in a kitchen.
Through to the living area is a lovely comfortable sofa, which folds out allowing a child to stay or the occasional guest. There is a large flat screen TV with cable and English channels, plus or course Wifi Internet through out the apartment. There is a telephone and all calls landline/mobile to USA, Canada and France are free.
Take the staircase down and you arrive into a lovely bright and large bedroom, completely sound proof from the outside world. Great for getting over jetlag. It is what the French call sous sol (basement) however is nothing like a basement at all, it has a new ensuite bathroom and a window feature which provides plenty of light. Please note there is no direct sunlight - the window is a lighting effect, however as you will see from the photos it is very bright and luminous. There is a huge double wardrobe with plenty of room for hanging all clothes plus lots of room for all the shopping! The toilet is located here so you have easy access during the night. Please look at the stairs and take note they may not be suitable for elderly people or very young children.
The bed is a brand new king size bed of 160cms, with all new luxury linen. Linen and towels will be provided and are include in the rental fee.
Our concierge or myself will be there to meet you and show you through the unit and answer any questions you may have about the apartment or Paris in general.
If you want a memorable and very Parisian experience staying in a prime location then this truly is the best unit plus we always look forward to meeting people from other places!

We are are a retired French couple who live in the SW of France but come to Paris to see our children. We have recently completely redone this unit so everything is brand new and fully functional. We both grew up in Paris and love this area as it is vibrant and very central to everything Paris has to offer as well as being safe and in an upmarket area.
Why they chose this property
The location of our unit is truly fantastic. It's in a very exclusive and safe area which has fantastic local boutique stores plus all the basics expected from Paris...bakeries, cafes, grocery stores etc...Avenue Montaigne which has the most exclusive shops in Paris is only 2 minutes walk, plus the Champs Elysees is a 3 minute walk.
What makes this property unique
The unit is really so spacious and bright, it's so lovely to unwind in and the bedroom is calm and cool in summer.
