This one of a kind home is located right next to the Warren Dunes State Park and is walking distance to the lake. You can drive directly to the beach , or if you prefer, the 20 minute walk is down a beautiful tree lined street and is directly adjacent to the State Park.
This beautiful home features a brand new large screened in porch with an al fresco dining option and a daybed that could be an extra sleeping option.
There are 2 bedrooms , one has king bed, the other a queen. A back room off the kitchen has 2 daybeds that acts as an extra living room or bedroom. BBQ area outside with additional seating. Fire pit in side yard . Washer and dryer on site. We want you to feel at home and have tried to supply everything we think you would need! This is a great area to explore! Head to the beach for the day, go hiking thru beautiful wooded trails, go wine tasting or brewery hopping! Lots of U-pick fruit farms, kayaking, biking. This area has it all.

The house is cozy and charming, and the kids loved the eclectic artwork and decorations throughout. I think their favorite part was the owners cats coming up on the kitchen deck to say hi. Thanksgiving stay

We enjoyed our stay in Sawyer while celebrating Thanksgiving with family at a home nearby. The house is warm and inviting, and decorated with much care and thought. We didn't eat meals there but the kitchen is well equipped and everything is clean and orderly. The king bed is very comfortable and we slept very well, its quiet and peaceful. We would definitely visit again!

Now for something completely different.

This property is filled with eclectic pieces of art. Photos, pictures, statues, mirrors, and a feather-as-art. It's fun to check it all out, and certainly is something to talk about. There is plenty of room to spread out or have casual conversations. The kitchen is easy to work in and pretty well stocked with appliances. Our stay for an anniversary weekend was quiet, enjoyable and relaxing.

Great Stay in Sawyer!

We loved our long weekend in Sawyer, mostly because of this amazing house. The house itself is beautiful, full of cozy spaces and thoughtful touches. We enjoyed sitting on the porch each morning. The house is in a great location - within walking distance to the dunes, and close to many other attractions. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond. We would absolutely stay here again!

Sawyer Gem

We had a lovely weekend in Sawyer thanks to our stay at Here and Now. Check in was an easy process and we were greeted with a fantastic house. It was just what we needed for an Easter Weekend visit with our son and his girlfriend. The location was perfect for exploring the lake front, breweries, and wineries. It was also close to a church for Easter Sunday mass. The house itself was very tastefully decorated and had more than enough room for the four of us. This was our first visit to Michigan and if we are ever in the area again (or if I know someone who is visiting) I will definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful vacation house

This house is a lot of fun! It is artfully decorated- not a boring corner in this place! We had everything we could possibly need from kitchen utensils to books, games and beach equipment. Location was really wonderful as well, with a short walk/drive to the beach and a neat fish market next door, as well as many antique stores, farms and wineries nearby. There is a grill and a firepit available and we took advantage of both. We would love to return!

We made the permanent move to Sawyer Mi 21 years ago from Chicago and have never regretted it. It is a nature haven. We love hiking and beaching and this area is perfect for that. As lovers of art and design we've been so happy in this area as theres a great art community in near by Three Oaks Mi. We own a couple local antiques stores/ galleries and feel so blessed to love what we do and were able to raise our children in such a great area.

Why they chose this property

My family had come to this area since the 1920s. It has always been the place we vacationed for summers our entire lives. We just love the beaches and tranquility. We grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and then lived in Chicago for years after we got married. We were visiting my parents up here and came across this house and fell in love. We bought it, left Chicago, and have never regretted it!

What makes this property unique

We just fell in love with this property. The house had great bones and a lot of character. We loved that it was so study with its plaster walls and the unique archways that lead into each room. We just added a huge screened in porch that is so amazing and gets the most beautiful afternoon sun! A wonderful place to sit and quietly read or take a nap on the daybed. Its so close to Warren Dunes State Park which is amazing whether we want to walk down the for a swim or go hiking through the miles of cleared paths. We love to cook and entertain and just renovated the kitchen and love to eat outside on the screened in porch. We hope you fall in love with it just like we did!
